Liverpool chief executive Rick Parry said the club will renew their interest in Simao Sabrosa when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

Derby boss Phil Brown has terminated Khalilou Fadiga's loan deal the midfielder has now returned to Bolton.

Leicester have signed Arsenal's 18-year old winger Ryan Smith on loan until the end of the season.

Newcastle youngster Alan O’Brien will spend the next month on loan at Carlisle.



Question marks over Roy Keane’s future with Manchester United has encouraged William Hill to start betting on whether he will still be at Old Trafford next season - they offer:
11/10 that he will be
2/1 he will be a Celtic player
11/5 he has moved elsewhere.
