I write that as many of you are a few years younger than me and may not remember vinyl smiley

I bought three on one day from Woolies bargain bin - Bucks Fizz 'when we were young', Nick Heyward 'take that situation' and Culture Club 'karma chameleon'.

Natty huh? smiley

I think it was Dangerous by Michael Jackson.

Or it could have been Promises and Lies by UB40

I can't really remember what the first cd I myself bought, but I think it would have to be either Gun's N' Roses (Use your illusion 2) or Pearl Jam (Ten)

But Stain - that makes you sound too cool smiley

What about something you begged your mother for when you were really young?

Yeah like Jive Bunny!!! or The birdie song...though the 1st REAL record i brought by myself (while mother held me hand) was Robert Palmer Addicted To Love.

From a place called Woolworths. lovely.

But ol Kenny was still me 1st, given to me by me dad.

I'd like to point out though that I must have been about 8 at the time I was given that video (and I think I've still got it somewhere)

But I was never really into music (apart from the Beatles, cause that's what got played around the house) until I started hearing rock music.

First music video that I ever saw and thought "wow, that was F'n great" was Metallica "One"
