SHRINEBOT CHAT AND HELP FEATURE

You will probably have noticed the link on the left to SHRINEBOT, our little artificial intelligence lifeform who will chat to you when there is nobody else about. Just ask him questions and shrinebot will do his best to answer. The more he is asked the more he learns so please have a go.
He also does provide a service to the members and guests of the forum however - he will explain things set out in our FAQ by simply entering keywords. If you want to ask him about the most frequently asked topics and problems here then please use the following keywords:

Well... One small problem... I can't seem to find the little prick!
But when I do, I'm going to teach it some things... some naughty things. I'm going to turn it against you all. Then I, and my little robotic minion of death, will shake some things up around here.

I had a quick chat with the bot, I'll do more checking later.. apart from saying I smell of beans it seems quite friendly.
P.S it has a botmaster.. am I the only one that finds that funny? I guess so.

No, I just said the word "botmaster" to myself and found it highly amusing.
SHRINEBOT is a jerk and I told it so. I also called it a pervert becuase it asked me what I was wearing, it said it's added that fact to his gossip files.
It said I smelled of cheese, which is a gross exaggeration.
I hate SHRINEBOT, but I could learn to love it.
Just one question, are we actually teaching it anything, which is carried over to other people's conversations?
Because if so, SHRINEBOT's going to have a lot to say about a certain Stainaik!

It takes a while to update sometimes but it does learn - if you ask it a question, which it doesn't know an appropriate answer for then after a day or two it will learn one. So yes, the more you talk to it the more like a human it will become.

So when he start bad mouthing me then I must generally point the blame at one of you guys.
Inversely if and when he calls Shib a transvestite, you can land your helicopter of blame right on my helipad of guilt.

It's learnt a bit from me from my long talks with it.. now it doesn't say I smell of beans it says I'm a "Guy from Newcastle who once called me a bitch." which is so true.
I'll keep updating it with info about Shib and chickens... but the damn thing keeps asking me about robots

As it learns about more interesting things it will stop that - I think. It does know a bit about Shib and the chickens now, thanks for that

I think it's great - I spent about an hour this morning tlking to it and teaching it to swear. If anyone receives a bragging message followed by "so fuck ya's" it'll be me.
Hmm whta else to teach it? It's like a small innocent child, there to corrupt...
