Snitsky is looking for someone...

Two of the Diva chicks are sitting around talking about JBL and Batista. they scream when they see Snitsky who says he is looking for someone. They say they are pretty sure that he won't find that someone here, in the girl's locker room. Snitsky stares at them long and hard and looks down at their legs and says "NICE SHOES." Snitsky rolls off as the girls look confused.

Teddy Long!

Eric Bischoff is asking the Coach who played the damn tape of JBL. Coach says he knows nothing. Teddy Long then appears and says he is going to show these playas on Raw some love! bischoff asks him why he is trying to steal Batista and why he played the tape of JBL. Teddy Long says he had nothing to do with the tape, but he is here to steal Batista. He goes on to promote how good Batista would be on Smackdown, against JBL or The Big Show. He promotes the barbed wire steel cage match. He says he gave Batista a VERY generous offer and he may just be Smackdown bound! Holla Holla! Teddy leaves and Bischoff tells the Coach to get security and get Teddy Long the hell out of here!

Stacy is in the back talking with Randy Orton. She says his match last night was awesome, but is he ready to go back out there again? Orton says lasdt night he got knocked out and he did not win the title. He says this is his life. He says that tonight he has to prove that he is still the legend killer. She tells him to be careful.

Tag Team Title Match
La Resistance (c) vs. Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho

Conway and Jericho start off as Conway takes Jericho down fast with rights and lefts. Jericho fires back with a knockdown and back suplex. Jericho comes off the ropes and goes for a sunset flip but he over goes and rolls through going for a quick lion tamer. Conway gets out but Jericho boots him in the face and tags Benoit. Benoit goes buck wild on Conway who eventually tags Grenier. Benoit chops away at him but Grenier reverses a whip and he starts stomping on Benoit.

Grenier gives Benoit a gutwrench into an over the shoulder backbreaker. He tags Conway who goes for Benoit, but Benoit gets the crossface on him! Grenier breaks it and Jericho tosses him out of the ring.

Action slows down a bit as Benoit is in a front face lock at the hands of Grenier. Benoit is trying to tag but Grenier knocks Jericho off the apron. Benoit hits a flapjack but Jericho is not there for the tag. He eventually gets the hot tag and Jericho goes buck wild on both men. He springboard dropkicks Conway, and then takes down Grenier with a headlock slam and bulldog. All four men hiot the ring after Jericho misses the lionsault. Benoit hits a german suplex and all hell breaks loose. Eventually Jericho gets Grenier in the walls of Jericho but Conway comes into the ring with the belt but Jericho gets him too!

ALL HELL really does break loose as Jericho has the illegal La Resistance member in the Walls of Jericho and the legal member is brawling outside the ring with Chris Benoit. Conway leaves Benoit and clocks Jericho in the back of the head, while Jericho has the Walls on Grenier. The referee calls for the bell as he cannot keep control of this match! It's a double Disqualification.

Winners: Double Disqualification, La Resistance retain the tag titles.

Daivari and Hassan got something to say..

The crowd boos Hassan who says he does not deserve this. He says last night, 8 men took him down at once. He says he expected this from the Raw guys, but not the Smackdown guys. He says last night was a metaphor for how America has literally ganged up on him and his fellow Arab Americans. He says that he is issuing a challenge right now to anyone who took part in that last night. He then says it could be any American. Daivari starts to speak but then Sargeant Slaughter comes out to the ring with his American Flag! The crowd goes insane. Daivari starts yelling at him and Slaugher drops him!

Muhammed Hassan vs. Sargeant Slaughter

Hassan attacks Slaughter but Slaughter reverses and places him in the Cobra Clutch! Hassan reels around looking for a way out and he finally gets out. Hassan works over Slaughter with knees and punches before placing him in a bear hug. Slaughter works his way out of the bearhug and snaps on Hassan sending him all over the ring with clotheslines. He even gives him a few right hands followed by a big one that makes the crowd roar. Hassan kicks Slaughter in the chest but Slaugher is not hurting. Slaughter goes for a deadly clothesline but misses allowing Hassan to nail his face plant. Hassan places him in the camel clutch and Slaughter eventually taps.

Winner: Muhammad Hassan

Benoit and Jericho, on edge?

Jericho and Benoit exchange words about why they can't win together. It gets intense and the two get nose to nose. They walk off with Jericho telling Benoit to bring his best.

Ric Flair is trying to pump HHH up but HHH is a little weird. HHH asks Flair if he knows how much HHH wants this match with Batista. Flair says yes and that it will be the greatest. HHH says maybe he wants this match too bad. He says maybe he is being selfish here. He starts asking why Batista couldn't go to Smackdown, why should he be held back and forgo all that money? HHH then says that if Batista went to Smackdown, he could fight for a championship he could win. And if he does beat JBL, then Evolution would run the entire industry! Flair starts to actually believe him a little bit...

Bischoff comes out and announces several matches for next week. He says next week, Chris Jericho and Chris Benoit will face off in Japan in a submission match! He then says Regal wants a rematch for the tag team titles and he has a new partner in Tajiri! So they will face off! And last but not least, and HHH, incase you've forgotten who really calls the shots around here, it will be HHH vs. Edge for the heavyweight championship of the world!

Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels vs. HHH and Ric Flair

Flair and Orton start off with a collar end elbow, Flair goes down quickly and Orton slaps him! He walks over to the corner and HBK slaps him too. The two lock up again and Flair gains control in the corner chopping the hell out of Orton. Orton reverses and throws rights and lefts at the face of Flair. He whips Flair off the buckle and gives him a back body drop! Flair goes to his own corner and he is trying to tag HHH but HHH waits a bit but finally tags himself in. The two lock up and Orton gains control with punches, a whip, and a back body drop. Orton nails away on HHH with right hands before twisting his arm and tagging HBK who comes off the middle rope with a hammer to HHH's arm. Michaels chops away on HHH, Flair gets involved, he gets chopped, but this allows HHH to gain control.

HHH's control does not last long as HBK reverses and goes for a 10 punch, he gets to seven and HHH gives him an inverted atomic drop. HHH then goes to work placing HBK to the top rope. HHH climbs up and the two battle. Mivhaels gets the upper hand and knocks HHH down allowing him to drop the elbow! Flair is in illegally and all hell breaks loose! Orton clears the ring and slams HHH off the steps outside the ring! Flair gets back dropped by Michaels outside the ring and Batista starts going insane! Batista grabs a chair and tosses it in the ring. He grabs another and heads for the ring, slamming the steel steps along the way. Chad Patton has seen enough and he kicks Batista out! Batista slams the chair like he's mad but as he exits up the ramp we see him crack a smile. He got ejected on purpose leaving HHH and Flair to fend for themselves.

When we come back from commercial Ric Flair is in control of HBK chopping away in the corner. HBK reverses slamming Flair in the chest a good hundred times. Flair comes off the ropes and he takes a dive! HBK covers but Flair is barely able to kick out at two and a half. HBK suplexes Flair and goes for another pin for another two count. HBK comes off the ropes with s houlder block sending Flair down hard, another two count. HBK chops some more before sending Flair for an upside down ride off the turnbuckle! HBK goes to run off the ropes but HHH gets a cheap shot knee to the back of HBK. HBK comes in and gives HBK a sick spinebuster for a two count. HBK holds Michaels by the ribs and Flair is tagged. Flair gives HBK a blow and then works him in the corner with more chops before dropping a knee on the head of HBK. HHH is tagged back in and he stomps away on HBK in the corner of Evolution. HHH throws right hands and Flair chokes HBK with the tag team rope while Patton's back is turned. HBK finds himself stuck in an abdominal stretch but he works his way out with a hip toss! HHH gets a tag but Michaels cannot.

Flair holds HBK back, HBK shows signs of life but Flair gets an elbow to his face, but he climbs the top rope and HBK send him flying! HBK tags and so does Flair! Orton goes buck wild nailing HHH with a dropkick and a Flair with a back body drop. Orton gives HHH a powerslam and then gives Flair an inverted back and neck breaker. Orton goes WILD on HHH in the corner and the ref tries to stop him but Flair knocks the referee into him and the referee goes down. Flair turns around and he catches an RKO. But Randy hits the ground and he is not moving. His eyes are wide open again and he looks like he did last night after suffering a concussion.

HHH wants to take control of the opportunity so he goes to pedigree Randy Orton. But HBK gives HHH the sweet chin music! Randy falls and Michaels turns to find Edge! Edge runs at HBK but HBK moves and Edge spears HHH! Michaels knocks Edge out of the ring and he has a go with him. Back inside the ring, Orton, who is half outcold, finds the strength to roll over and cover HHH! Patton counts him down, 1..2..3!

Winners: Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels

After the match:

HBK looks at Orton who barely knows where he is. He holds his head up and tries to talk to him. After a few minutes, HBK helps Orton walk out of the arena as the crowd cheers like wild.

Steel Cage Match
Kane vs. Gene Snitsky

Snitsky starts it off early drilling Kane into the cage. Kane fights back and rams Snitsky head first into the cage but Snitsky fights out. The two titans clash fist with fist until both men collide with shoulders knocking each other down. Kane gets up quick and knocks Snitsky down. Kane climbs the cage but Snitsky pulls him down by the legs. Snitsky then gives Kane a few forearm shots into the steel cage before choking him and slamming him off the steel cage.

Snitsky tries to leave through the door but Kane kicks him right in the face. Snitsky recovers with a right hand to Kane before slamming him off the cage a few times. Trish Stratus comes to the ring now wearing a neckbrace. Snitsky climbs the cage but Kane pulls him down and gives him a few right hands. Kane then gives Snitsky a sidewalk slam and Snitsky screams in pain. Kane starts to climb out of the door but Snitsky pulls him back in. Kane kicks him off but Snitsky catches him one more tim. Both men are near the door but Snitsky, with a front face lock, brings in back to the middle. Kane powers out of the face lock lifting Snitsky straight up and dropping him on his belly and face. Kane and Snitsky both start climbing the cage but Kane slams his head off the metal rail sending him flying down. Kane dives off the top rope with a hard clothesline. Kane goes to exit the ring but Trish tries to slam the door in his face. But Kane catches the door!

Kane pulls Trish Stratus in the ring by her hair! He removes her neckbrace and goves to give her a chokeslam but Snitsky kicks him in the face (kind of) Snitsky goes for the pin but only gets a two. Snitsky then goes to leave via the door but instead of leaving, he rips the door off it's bearings and tosses it in the ring! He picks it up and runs at Kane but Kane gets a big boot to his face. Kane then sets the cage door up on it's SIDE. He picks Snitsky up and drops him gonads first onto it! Kane then tosses the steel door down, slaps the choke on Snitsky, and plants him with the chokeslam! Kane makes the cover and he wins the match-up!

Winner: Kane

Kane celebrates as Raw goes off the air!

xx Official WWE Raw Preview (7/2/05): WWE In Japan
« Reply #48 on: Feb 3rd, 2005, 01:38am »

Thanks to WWE.com for the following:

Three huge matches have already been announced by General Manager Eric Bischoff for RAW's first-ever broadcast from Japan: Edge will get his first one-on-one match against Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship; Chris Jericho will face Chris Benoit in what is sure to be a brutal Submission Match; and William Regal & Tajiri will attempt to take the World Tag Team Championship from La Resistance.

For months, Edge has complained that he hasn't gotten a fair opportunity to be World Heavyweight Champion. When RAW emanates from Japan, there will be no more excuses. Edge will face 10-time and current World Heavyweight Champion Triple H, man against man. It's time for Edge to put up or shut up. But this may be the worst possible time for Triple H to encounter Edge; he's coming off an impressive, double-duty showing at the Royal Rumble and has never been more passionate about winning the world title. Can the Cerebral Assassin come up with a game plan to turn back a hungry challenger, and will Evolution be part of that scheme?

Benoit and Jericho are no strangers to Japan. Their accomplished careers have included prolonged stays in that land, rich in wrestling history. The fans in Tokyo are sure to appreciate this match from two submission specialists. Will the night belong to the Crippler and his Crossface and Sharpshooter, or will the Walls of Jericho force Benoit to tap?

In what is certain to be a special treat for Tajiri, he will challenge La Resistance for the World Tag Team Championship in his homeland. Will William Regal be able to regain the title with a new partner, or will La Resistance stomp out the challenge?

WWE RAW Report
Taped in Tokyo, Japan
February 7th, 2005
Reported by: The Worm, rajah.com RAW reporter

Welcome to RAW everyone as it emanates from Tokyo, Japan for the very first time (at least on television). I’m looking forward to seeing Edge take on Triple H for the title, but without reading the spoilers I already knew he wouldn’t be walking out of the Land of the Rising Sun with the World Heavyweight Championship in tow. I just hope that even if Edge doesn’t win, that the writers still keep his character rolling like it has been for a few weeks now and hopefully there will be a World title reign for Edge sometime in the future, as he really deserves one.

Bischoff makes his way down to the ring with the crowd booing him. Question: what purpose did shaving Bischoff’s head serve?

Bischoff says he is the GM of RAW and one of the most powerful and respected men in the wrestling business. A translator translates what he just said, and tonight, history is going to be made because RAW is broadcasting for the first time from Tokyo. Tonight, Bischoff is going to bring you one of the biggest RAWs anyone has ever seen because you will see Icon vs. Icon as Ric Flair takes on HBK Shawn Michaels. Plus, Edge will face Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship (Kinda funny how the crowd will cheer what Bischoff says, but will boo when the translator translates what he just said). Bischoff announces our first match for the night, a submission match between Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho.

Match #1 (Submission) - Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho:

They lock up and Jericho backs Benoit into the ropes and then they roll around into a corner. They continue to grapple, as the men take it to the outside before the ref breaks them up. They get back into the ring and butt heads, but the ref eparates them again. Jericho goes behind Benoit and takes him with a waist lock take down.

They lock up again with Benoit cinching in an armbar on Jericho. Jericho counters it, and then we see some more mat wrestling from two of the finest wrestlers the WWE has to offer today. Jericho tries for the Walls early, but Benoit counters out. Benoit tries for the Sharpshooter, but to no avail. They’re now at a stand still as the crowd applauds their efforts.

Jericho hits a couple of clubbing blows to Benoit’s back and then drops him on the top rope. Jericho tries for the springboard dropkick, but Benoit knocks him off the ropes. The two begin to fight on the turnbuckle as they begin to exchange punches. Both men are knocked down to the mat after a Benoit headbutt and then we go to commercial.

- Commercial Break -

Back on RAW, Benoit has knocked Jericho down on the canvas. Benoit picks him up and nails a snap suplex. Jericho begins to fight back with chops, but he misses one and this allows Benoit to attempt the rolling Germans. Benoit is able to connect with one before Jericho counters it into a unique submission manuever. Benoit counters out with a Northern Lights suplex-esque move and Benoit goes for the rolling Germans again but is only able to connect with two before Jericho is able to put Benoit in a half Boston crab.

Benoit struggles to get to the ropes , but he is able to do so. Benoit is attempting to put the Sharpshooter on Jericho, but Jericho is fighting, so Benoit has to weaken him some more by hitting more German suplexes and both men are getting pretty wore out this early in the match. Benoit signals for the flying headbutt and as he goes up top, he is able to connect it on Jericho’s back.

Benoit sees that Jericho is hurting and he attempts the Crossface, Jericho is able to fight out of it and attack Benoit, but after Benoit counters out of a Lionsault, Jericho tries for the Walls but has to opt for a catapult instead. Benoit is able to lock the Crossface on Jericho, but will he be able to reach the ropes? YES! He reaches the bottom rope and Benoit has to break the hold.

Jericho rolls Benoit over and he again tries for the Walls, but Benoit is kicking him in the head and Benoit tries for another Crossface. Jericho is forced to tap out, despite being a few inches away from the bottom rope.

Winner: Chris Benoit

Post-match, Jericho shakes Benoit’s hand and raises it to show his respect for the Rabid Wolverine.

- Commercial Break -

A video is shown talking about the superstars’ trip to Japan.

Backstage, we see Triple H and Ric Flair getting geared up for their respective matches and they have a little talk and Flair says he’s gonna make HBK pay homage to the Nature Boy and Triple H is gonna beat Edge just like that. Triple H has second thoughts about Batista’s possible jump to Smackdown, and he feels that it should be Batista vs. Triple H at Wrestlemania XXI. Flair talks him out of that idea as he wants him to picture Triple H ruling RAW and Batista ruling Smackdown.

We then see Christian with Tyson Tomko talking to a Japanese interviewer when they come across Stacy Keibler. Christian says that the interviewer wants to ask her a couple of “Christian” questions. The first question he asks is where he can find Randy Orton. Christian wants to know why he’d be looking for him, and it’s because Christian is annoying. Christian proceeds to talk trash about Orton. Christian tells Stacy to go tell Orton to meet him later in the ring, and Christian decides to have Tysom Tomko take him on with Christian at his side. Before we go to commercial, we see Batista heading out for his match.

- Commercial Break -

The latest Wrestlemania 21 commercial features Triple H as William Wallace from the movie “Braveheart” giving a speech to rile up the men. However, the camera turns and we see that Triple H is talking to nobody. Ric Flair then shows up in peasant’s garb pulling a donkey saying a bunch of stuff I didn’t listen to.

Maven is in the ring and he feels people wanna know why Maven wasn’t in the Royal Rumble. That’s because if he was, he would have won. He would have thrown Batista out of the ring and before he can continue talking trash, Batista makes his way out to the ring.

Match #2 (Singles) - Maven vs. Batista:

Maven attacks Batista from behind and he tries to clothesline him, but to no avail. Maven goes to bounce off the ropes and he is met with a spinebuster. Batista hits the Batista Bomb and that ends this squash.

Winner: Batista

As Batista celebrates his victory, a video is shown on the ‘Tron where the Big Show made some comments about Batista on Smackdown last week.

- Commercial Break -

We see Batista walking through the arena as he comes across Bischoff and he complains about the sudden appearance of SD videos. Bischoff says he’ll get to the bottom of it and he talks Batista into staying on RAW.

Match #3 (Tag Title) - La Resistance (C) vs. William Regal & Tajiri:

You should hear the Japanese crowd as they popped HUGE for Tajiri. It’s Regal and Conway starting this match. We see the usual shenanigans as any match tends to start, and Tajiri is tagged in. He takes it to Conway before taking Regal back in. Regal goes for a pin , but Grenier breaks it up. Conway drives Regal into his corner and rams some shoulders into his gut. Grenier gets in some cheap shots and Conway continues to single out Regal. Grenier is tagged in and he continues to keep Regal from his corner. He knocks Tajiri off the apron and Regal locks in an STF. Conway breaks it up and Regal hits a back body drop on Grenier. Tajiri is tagged in and he cleans house of La Resistance. Tajiri connects with a Mysterio-esque bulldog on Grenier and he goes for a pin, but Grenier kicks out. Tajiri continues to weaken Grenier and as he goes for another pin, Conway is there to break it up. Tajiri chops away at Grenier after fending off Conway and he locks the Tarantula on Grenier, but again Conway breaks up the hold.

Regal slams Conway on the outside and with the ref distracted, Grenier grabs the Quebec flag. It’s a swing….and a miss. Tajiri mists Grenier, ala The Great Kabuki, and connects with the Kick of Death to win the titles.

Winner and NEW World Tag Team Champions: Tajiri & William Regal

Post-match, Tajiri says something in Japanese and then the new champs go into the crowd to celebrate with the fans.

Up next will be HBK vs. Flair Part whatever (how many times have these two faced each other in singles competition?)

- Commercial Break -

The cameras show that Akebono is in the crowd, and he’s a former Sumo champion.

The Class of 2005 inductees are “Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorff, The Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, “Cowboy” Bob Orton, and “The Mouth of the South” Jimmy Hart, and I wonder if there will be more to come as it gets closer to WM21?

Match #4 (Singles) - Ric Flair vs. Shawn Michaels:

They lock up and Flair backs HBK into a corner. The ref wants a clean break, but Flair hit a cheap elbow to the head of HBK. Flair begins to punch and chop away at HBK. HBK blocks a punch and connects with some chops of his own. Flair is whipped into a corner, and is met with a back body drop. HBK clotheslines Flair over the ropes and to the outside. HBK chops away at Flair, but Flair hits a thumb to the eye. Flair charges, but HBK is back dropped onto the mat. In the ring, Flair begs for mercy and HBK must be feeling gullible as he falls for another thumb.

Flair chops HBK to knock him down and then pins him, but HBK kicks out. Flair puts HBK into a corner and hits a couple of chops before HBK begins to take a few jabs. Flair flops and HBK goes for a pin, but Flair kicks out. Flair kicks HBK in the gut and then whips him into the corner. Flair follows it up with a chop block and Flair has begun to focus on HBK’s leg as he stomps down on his left leg.

Flair is able to hit another chop block after bouncing HBK off the corner and he then locks in the Figure Four leglock. HBK is slowly working to turn Flair over, and Flair breaks the hold. Both men are back on their feet and Flair hits a chop before causing HBK’s leg to buckle. HBK goes for a rolling clutch pin, but Flair kicks out. Flair tries for another Figure Four, but HBK rolls him up into an inside cradle and again Flair kicks out. Backslide from HBK, Flair kicks out. HBK hits an enziguiri on Flair after Flair grabs his leg and both men are down.

HBK is first to his feet and the two begin to exchange chops with HBK gaining the upper hand. Flair stomps on his leg and then goes to the top turnbuckle. HBK slams him off of it and then connects with a flying forearm. HBK kips up and he is getting all fired up. He body slams HBK and HBK looks like he’s gonna do his elbow drop. It connects and it’s time to tune up the band.

HBK connects with the SCM and that’s it for this match.

Winner: Shawn Michaels

- Commercial Break -

The WWE Rewind recaps Kane defeating Snitsky in a cage match last week.

The All-American Diva Fashion Show (Host: Jerry “The King” Lawler):

This features Maria, Victoria, and my favorite, Christy Hemme (who I hope will be appearing in Playboy if what I heard is true).

Maria comes out in a cowgirl get-up. Next up is Victoria, who is dressed in what I guess is supposed to be a biker chick get-up. Last, but not least, Christy comes out in a bikini to represent the sunny beaches.

Before the show can continue, they’re interrupted by Simon Dean and there is no way airtime is going to be wasted on the fashion show when Simon Dean can talk to an international audience about his Simon System. He proceeds to talk trash about Japan (and I’m guessing they have no idea what he’s saying). Akebono stands up like he’s going to come after Simon Dean, but Simon Dean says he’s cool with Akebono. Simon then proceeds to belittle the divas and make fun of their appearance.

The King then stands up for the fans and divas. Simon knows why he’s really upset and that’s because he’s been packing on the pounds and can’t lose the weight. Simon then calls him “Burger King” (I remember when that used to bug the crap out of the King), and this segment ends with Christy low-blowing the exercise nut.

- Commercial Break -

Wrestlemania 21 goes Hollywood in 55 days.

Backstage, Evolution is talking. Triple H & Flair talk to Batista about jumping to SD and they feel it would be a good idea so Batista can shut all of the running mouths and become WWE Champion.

We then see Edge with the Coach and he doesn’t seem to be too thrilled. He is fixated on the fact that he’s being overlooked, but one thing is for sure, he’s hellbent on walking out of Japan with the World title.

- Commercial Break -

Match #5 (Singles) - Randy Orton vs. Tyson Tomko:

They lock up and Tomko backs Orton into the ropes. The ref breaks it up and Orton hits a right to the head of Tomko. Orton locks in a headlock and then takes him down with a drop toe hold. Tomko whips Orton and Orton takes him down. Orton goes for a pin, but Tomko kicks out. Tomko slams Orton and we see Christian dragging Stacy down the ramp. Orton is distracted, and this allows Tomko to clothesline him.

Tomko stomps away at his head and as Orton tries to back off, he finds himself cornered and Tomko decides to choke him on the bottom turnbuckle with his foot. Tomko continues to work on Orton and then he goes for a pin, but Orton is able to kick out.

Orton better let go of the front of Tomko’s tights because I don’t wanna have a reason to not continue this report. Orton is beginning to fight back as he hits his signature backbreaker. Orton begins to repeatedly club Tomko’s chest with forearms. Orton takes a breather, which allows Tomko to recover enough to hit a gut shot. Orton dropkicks him and he signals for the RKO, but Orton collapses into the ropes. Tomko seizes the moment as he attacks Orton. Orton wins this with a roll-up that came out of nowhere.

Winner: Randy Orton

Stacy looks on with concern for the legend killer and post-match, Christian ambushes Orton and Tomko stretches him out. Christian lands the Unprettier and he stands over him in triumph.

- Commercial Break -

Main Event (World Title) - Triple H (C) vs. Edge:

They lock up and Triple H hits a side headlock take over. More exchanges between the two wrestlers and they’re at a standoff. The crowd applauds their efforts and they lock up again. Triple H puts Edge in a hammerlock and Edge does the same to Triple H. Triple H puts Edge in a head scissors. The two men continue to exchange move after move.

Triple H counters out of another head scissors by flipping out and clocking Edge with a punch. Edge whips the champ into the corner and drives his shoulder into his gut. Edge tries the same move again, only Triple H steps out of the way and sends Edge into the ringpost. Triple H sends him into the opposite ringpost twice in a row and then we go to commercial and Edge’s shoulder must be sore as hell after taking three shots to the ringpost like that.

- Commercial Break -

Edge hits a backbreaker and follows it up with a pin cover, but Triple H is able to kick out, much to Edge’s chagrin.

Edge tries to suplex Triple H, but he counters it with a DDT and both men are down. The two begin to exchange blows and Triple H is able to hit his signature facebuster. Triple H goes for a pin, but Edge kicks out. Edge is on the apron and Triple H tries to suplex him into the ring, but Edge counters by snapping Triple H’s neck off the ropes. Edge hits a missile dropkick off the top and he goes for another pin, but Triple H kicks out.

Triple H counters a whip and hits a spinebuster. Triple H goes for a pin, but Edge kicks out. Triple H goes for a back suplex, but Edge floats over and hits the Edge-o-Matic. Triple H kicks out of the pin and a tired Edge continues to weaken the Game. The Game counters a whip, but Edge kicks out of the corner. Edge counters out of a Pedigree attempt after Triple H catches him from the top. Edge signals for the spear, but he runs into the high knee of Triple H. Triple H goes for another cover, but Edge kicks out.

Triple H bounces Edge off the ropes and grabs him into a sleeper. Edge counters out of it and he locks in the Edgeucator. Triple H finally grabs the bottom rope and I’m disappointed that they couldn’t save this match for a future PPV where Edge would actually have a chance of winning. Edge accidentally spears the ref and Triple H goes for a clothesline, but Edge ducks and hits a neckbreaker. Edge goes for a pin, but there’s no ref to make the count.

Flair comes in with a chair and Edge spears him. Edge spots the chair and grabs it. Triple H ducks and hits a back suplex. Both wrestlers are down and the ref is still out. They’re crawling for the chair and just then, Batista comes down to the ring and takes the chair out of the ring. Edge gets up on the apron, and while Edge is distracted, Triple H nails Edge off the apron and into Batista. Triple H tosses him back into the ring and he goes for another Pedigree, but Edge counters it into an Edgecution.

Edge signals for another spear, but Batista comes into the ring and hits a hard spinebuster. The ref is starting to come to and both men are exhausted. Triple H finally connects with a Pedigree and what a big surprise, Edge is unable to win the World title. It was a solid effort for Edge to take on the champ for his title, but it was basically a huge waste of time since there was no chance whatsoever of the title actually changing hands on a non-PPV show.

Winner: Triple H

The show closes with Batista raising Triple H’s arm with the title in his hand, and Batista is seen eyeing Triple H’s title.

xx RAW PREVIEW - VALENTINES DAY 2005

St. Valentine’s Day RAW
Feb. 14, 2005

There are many questions to be answered when RAW is broadcast live from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Will new World Tag Team Champions Tajiri and William Regal be forced to make their first title defense? Surely, La Resistance will be hoping for a rematch after the way things ended during their match in Japan.

What is the condition of Randy Orton? The Legend Killer has now seemingly suffered three concussions in three weeks — a dangerous situation that cannot be overlooked by Orton or the WWE medical staff. Will Randy be in any condition to wrestle, or will he be forced to reassess the situation?

Batista still has a huge decision to make: Will he leave RAW to challenge the WWE Champion at WrestleMania, or will he stay home and challenge fellow Evolution member Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship? And will the SmackDown! roster of Superstars chime in again?

Tune in to RAW (9/8 CT; Spike TV) to find out.

WWE RAW Report (2/28/05) - Providence, Rhode Island

WWE RAW Report
Aired LIVE! From Providence, RI
February 28, 2005
Reported By: The Worm, rajah.com RAW reporter

We’re rewarded with a recap of what happened with Batista’s contract signing last week, and just when you think he’ll be heading back to Smackdown, he gives Trips the thumbs down and powerbombs him through the table. Guess who’s staying on RAW!

Triple H is heading out to the ring with his wrestling gear on and the belt around his waist, and he doesn’t look to be suffering any of the after-effects of that devastating Batista Bomb through the table last week.

With the stick in his hand, the first words out of The Game’s mouth are:

Still waiting for those words…(Triple H is staring long and hard into the crowd and listening to the chants and jeers)

Come on, Trips, say something!

Ahh…here we go: “Is there one person in this arena that thinks for one second that I am afraid of Batista?”

Then he guesses everyone thinks that at Wrestlemania Batista is gonna beat Triple H to become the next World Heavyweight Champion. Let Triple H remind everyone who he is. He is Triple H. HE IS THE GAME! HE IS THE BEST IN THIS BUSINESS AND NOT A DAMN CATCHPHRASE TO BE PUT ON T-SHIRTS!

I kinda lost him after he started shouting that first part, but he gives the same ol’ story about how he is the best and there is no one in the business who can beat him. He then goes on to say that Batista is a 300 lb. pound child and in the ring Triple H is his father. To Batista, he holds all the answers, but now, the boy thinks he has what it takes to be the man.

Let him tell you what happens when the boy tries the father. He smacks him down, slaps the ingrate boy and teaches him a lesson he’ll never forget. He then praises Batista for being on a roll as of late, but at Wrestlemania, Batista is going to be taught the difference between doing good and being good.

Then, for whatever reason, he is interrupted by The Hurricane. I guess that is his opponent for tonight.

Match #1:

Triple H vs. The Hurricane

Trips won’t even let Hurricane get into the ring. He smashes Hurricane’s head into the steel steps with his foot and then tosses him into them. He mounts him and then punches him in the head repeatedly and then begins to drag him up the ramp. He sets him up for the Pedigree and after a while, slams his head into the steel ramp.

The match never officially got underway, so it’s a no contest.

(The reason why I wasn’t sure if it was a promo or a match was because of the long promo Triple H cut and because Lilian didn’t make the usual announcements when someone is approaching the ring for a match)

He gets into the ring and he picks up the belt and mic from the ring and then tells Batista that his lesson begins tonight and once he sets foot into the arena, his ass is Triple H’s.

As he walks up the ramp, he stares down at The Hurricane, who is being attended to by referees.

- Commercial Break -

The WWE Recall recaps Chris Benoit getting beat down by Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari.

Chris Benoit makes his way out to the ring to get ready for our first official match.

Match #2:

Chris Benoit vs. Muhammad Hassan (w/ Daivari)

Daivari says something to Hassan in Farsi (thanks to the person who told me the name of his language) before he gets into the ring.

Benoit quickly gets to work on Hassan as he backs him up into the corner with punches and kicks. He whips Hassan into the ropes, and smacks him in the back. He hits a snap suplex and anyone else getting annoyed by Daivari constantly rambling on during a Hassan match?

The two are now exchanging blows as Hassan begins to build momentum. However, he is denied as Benoit hits a back suplex. He then hits him in the head and then whips across the ring. Hassan reverses and elbows Benoit in the head, but Benoit quickly regains control with forearm shivers. Hassan is whipped, but he kicks Benoit in the gut. Benoit tries for the Crossface early, but Daivari is there to distract him. He chases Daivari around the ring, only to be clocked by Hassan with a clothesline.

Back in the ring, Hassan goes to work on Benoit’s back, but Benoit is eager to fight out of it. Hassan suplexes Benoit and then goes for the cover, but Benoit kicks out. He gets Benoit in a rear chinlock and Daivari just will not shut the fuck up. Hassan continues to work on Benoit’s back and I wish someone would rip Daivari’s throat out so I don’t have to hear him speak anymore.

Hassan hits a backbreaker and he then goes for the cover, but Benoit kicks out yet again. Hassan decides to utilize a body scissors to his advantage, but Benoit is slowly working his way out of it. He punches Hassan in the head, but then Hassan kicks him off . Benoit bounces off the ropes, and he tries a sunset flip and then a backslide to pin Hassan, but to no avail. Hassan nails Benoit, but Benoit comes back with the rolling Germans.

Hassan grabs onto the ropes before the third is delivered and the ref is knocked out as he tries to fight Benoit off. Daivari hands Hassan the ring bell, and Hassan is hit with a third German, but then he doesn’t realize Hassan has the bell and he flies off the top with a flying headbutt. It’s hard to tell if Benoit actually hit the bell, but it didn’t appear so (I wanna say it was a botched spot). Daivari takes the bell and Hassan makes the cover, but Benoit is able to get the shoulder up.

Benoit wraps behind Hassan, and Hassan hits a low blow to get himself disqualified.

Winner by DQ: Chris Benoit

Before we head off to commercial, we get a recap of the brutal assault that Edge laid upon Shawn Michaels and tonight we’ll get to see them face off once again in a match, but this time it’ll involve Street Fight rules.

- Commercial Break -

The announcers tell us that there has been a new inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame for 2005 and that wrestler is…

Get ready….

(Real American begins to sound)

“The Immortal” HULK HOGAN!

If you wanna witness the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, check out the Universal Amphitheatre on April 2nd at 5:15 PM. The tickets are available now and just then, Batista has made his way into the arena. The Coach shows up to warn him and Batista tells him that when he sees Triple H, he’s going to thank him for unleashing the animal.

We see that Triple H has been watching the monitor and Flair comes in to let him know that Batista has arrived. Flair wants Triple H to go beat the crap out of him, but Triple H has a better idea.

- Commercial Break -

It’s a snowy night in Providence, RI and we see a clip from RAW of last year where Christy becomes the WWE Diva Search winner. We get to hear an interview with Christy about posing in Playboy and I, for one, will pick up that issue. Christy is hot!

Match #3:

WWE Intercontinental Championship

Shelton Benjamin vs. Snitsky

This is the rubber match, folks, and we’re told that if Shelton gets DQed, Snitsky is the new IC champion.

Snitsky quickly overpowers Shelton, but Shelton fires out of the corner with punches. Snitsky whips him, but Benjamin goes for a sunset flip. Snitsky lifts him out and up and Snitsky hits an unusual slam on Shelton (I missed what it looked like, so I’m just saying what JR said). Snitsky goes for a pin, but Shelton kicks out.

Shelton tries to build some momentum, but as he bounces off the ropes, Snitsky hits him with a powerslam. Snitsky tries for a pumphandle slam, but Shelton wiggles out and hits a reverse DDT. Again, Shelton tries to regain momentum, but Snitsky catches him and delivers a big boot to knock Shelton to the outside.

Snitsky tosses him back in and every time Snitsky yells, I wanna imagine him letting out a high-pitched squeal. Snitsky is so stupid.

After a huge DDT from Shelton, he is able to hit the Stinger Splash and T-Bone suplex to retain the title.

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

The Smackdown Rebound recaps JBL’s celebration about being the longest reigning WWE Champion in the past 10 years.

Up next we will get to hear a major announcement regarding WM21.

- Commercial Break -

At Wrestlemania 21, the rowdiest man in WWE history is back. Piper’s Pit will return at Wrestlemania 21 and his guest will be STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!!!!!!

Oh, I know I’ll be watching Wrestlemania this year. It’s gonna be one hell of a show, folks!

Match #3:

“The Masterpiece” Chris Masters vs. John Walters (thanks to Eric M. for filling me in)

The announcers confirm that with Chris Masters’ Polish hand chop across the face of Steven Richards last week, that he did indeed break his nose. He broke the orbital bone and we get to see the results of that with a WWE.com exclusive. His nose was pretty swollen.

When we return to the ring, Chris is taking on an unknown wrestler (who I was later told was John Walters) and this will pretty much be a squash as the Masterpiece gets him into the full nelson and the ref is forced to call for the bell.

Winner: Chris Masters

JR is heading down to the ring and then we get to see an interview with The Rock about his upcoming movie, Be Cool. I really wanna see that movie, but I need to see Get Shorty first. The Rock and Vince Vaughn’s roles seem to be pretty funny.

- Commercial Break -

JR calls Batista down to the ring and the crowd is excited to see him, but I thought he’d be getting new theme music because he’s a babyface now, but hey, whatever.

JR’s sure that the question that’s on everyone’s mind and that is why did Batista decide to stay on RAW and challenge Triple H for the World title at WM21. That answer is because when Batista joined Evolution, it was all about Triple H and he didn’t mind. When Orton won the title, it was all about Triple H. When Batista won the Rumble, it was still about Triple H. Batista decided he wanted to do something about it and last week, The Game got played.

JR reminds him of Triple H’s threat and he wants to know if he’s having any second thoughts. Does he look like he has any second thoughts? No, he doesn’t and ever since he won the Rumble, he knew he was going to stay on RAW and that there was only one person he wanted to beat for the title, and that being Triple H. (Batista chants fire up)

Is it just me or does Batista look a lot like The Rock? Triple H may be a 10 time world champion, but Batista is bigger, better, and smarter. Triple H might be the man now, but at Wrestlemania 21, Batista will beat him and officially become the man.

(Triple H’s music hits. Triple H comes out with Flair)

Triple H whispers something into Flair’s ear and they begin to surround Batista (which is hard to do, given there are only two people)

Flair is decked and now Batista has Triple H in his sights. Flair tries to get up, but Batista knocks him back down. Triple H backs down, and Batista decides to give Flair a spinebuster. Triple H gets into the ring, but slowly exits. Batista holds his thumbs up and smiles, but quickly changes it to a thumbs down and delivers a bone crushing Batista Bomb to the Nature Boy.

Triple H gets back up onto the apron and Batista is challenging him to step into the ring, but he backs down yet again. Batista gives Triple H the two thumbs down and then he poses for the crowd.

Still to come, Edge vs. HBK in a street fight

- Commercial Break -

The Wrestlemania Recall recaps Molly Holly turning on The Hurricane to win the Hardcore Championship at Wrestlemania X8. She ends up losing the belt to Christian after Molly runs into a door (it was cut in half)

Triple H is yelling at Bischoff about the treatment that Ric Flair received at the hands of Batista. Next week, it’ll be Batista vs. Ric Flair and Triple H will be in Flair’s corner to make sure Batista gets what’s coming to him.

Match #4:

Chris Jericho vs. Maven

Y2J knees Maven in the gut and then kicks away at him. He puts him in a corner and begins to stomp a mudhole into him. Y2J picks him up and hits some chops before whipping him to the opposite corner. Maven kicks out, but Y2J quickly regains control. Y2J suplexes him onto the ropes and then connects with a springboard dropkick.

Y2J slams Maven’s head on the security barrier before tossing him back in and he then kicks him in the gut to send him across the ring. Maven ducks a bulldog and delivers the snake eyes to Y2J. Maven rubs Y2J’s face into the canvas and then chokes him using the middle rope.

Maven rolls out and then chokes him on the bottom rope. He gets back in and goes for a pin, but Y2J is able to kick out. Maven smacks Y2J in the face and then he goes to bounce off the ropes, but Y2J recovers and hits a couple of shoulder blocks. Y2J misses a clothesline, but he fires off a climbing enziguiri. Maven is in the ropes and Y2J goes to hit a running knee, but Maven ducks. Y2J is able to land on the apron and then he heads up top to hit a reverse elbow. Y2J gets him into the Walls and Maven is forced to tap.

Winner: Chris Jericho

Jericho grabs a mic and he came out here with an agenda. The reason being that WM21 is 5 weeks away and there’s already been some big matches announced. Everyone wants to make an impact and make history, but Y2J wants to do just that too. He’s issuing a challenge and he needs 5 other RAW superstars and a big steel ladder.

We see the buxom Christy Hemme strutting her stuff as she makes her way out to the ring. Stone Cold will be on the next issue of RAW Magazine, and it’ll be available tomorrow.

- Commercial Break -

We get to see the latest WM21 commercial, featuring John Cena questioning JBL about why the Bashams were at ringside. I’m not sure which movie it spoofs, but it features the line: “You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth!” I just know that Jack Nicholson was in that movie. (Never mind…I just did some looking, and the movie is A Few Good Men) Pretty intense stuff from John Cena & JBL though.

I can’t get enough of Christy and I’d do just about anything to at the very least, meet her. I just feel bad that I was originally rooting for Carmella DeCesare to win the Diva Search. What a douche I was. :-P

Christy continues to plug her Playboy spread and she’s got an unveiling (not that kind, you pervs!) tonight. She reveals the next cover of Playboy, but she is quickly interrupted by the WWE Women’s Champion.

Christy, Christy, Christy, here we are, another episode of RAW trying to steal Trish’s spotlight. It’s really starting to piss her off, but tonight is a special night and she thinks she can make an exception because it’s not every day you’re on the cover of Playboy! Might she say that Christy looks mahvelous. She looks sexy. She looks sparkly, but something is not quite right.

Trish knows what it is, and she pulls something out of her boot. She begins to deface the portrait with red spray paint. Christy smacks her, but Trish delivers a Chick Kick. She says into the mic that her head is so hard it broke Trish’s shoe, and with that, she spray paints “SLUT” on Christy’s back.

We get another look of outside the arena as the snow is coming down hard, and a back hoe is seen clearing out the parking lot.

Backstage, Billy Graham is hanging out with Stacy Keibler and Candace, when Orton shows up and the Superstar and he begin to have a conversation. The Superstar praises him for beating Mick Foley, but Graham feels he should begin to step out on his own and become something unique. He wants him to dig down deep where no wrestler has gone before and think about being unique. Orton thanks him for the advice, and we learn that is what Orton was thinking. He puts down a magazine, and we learn that it’s the issue of SD Magazine with the Dead Man on the cover.

Maria is interviewing Edge and he continues his tirade on HBK and how he’s constantly being overlooked. Edge is gonna make sure that HBK doesn’t even make it to Wrestlemania, and that match is next.

- Commercial Break -

Main Event:

Street Fight

Edge vs. “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels

Edge quickly charges after HBK, but HBK stops him and punches the crap out of him. Edge’s shirt gets ripped off and HBK uses his belt to lace Edge’s back.

HBK kicks Edge squarely and swiftly in the gut and then delivers a back drop. HBK clotheslines him over the top and the two begin to fight in the crowd. The two begin to exchange blows and then HBK sends Edge sailing back over the security barrier.

HBK swipes a camera from a fan and takes a picture of Edge. He tosses the camera back and then pulls out a garbage can from under the ring. He nails Edge in the head with it and then as he walks around to the other side of the ring, he threatens the camera man before pulling out a ladder.

Edge comes from around the corner and hits HBK with a trash can lid as he was setting up the ladder and Edge mounts him to deliver some punches to the head. Edge picks up HBK and then slams his head into the side of the ring before rolling him back in. He pulls out a steel chair and he then kicks HBK in the gut. He unfolds the chair, but HBK recovers and hits a thunderous chop to knock Edge off his feet.

Edge is able to deliver a weird Edgecution to HBK on the unfolded steel chair and HBK has been busted open as he lays on the outside of the ring.

- Commercial Break -

Back on RAW, Edge has HBK in a body scissors. HBK gets out of it and punches Edge in the head and HBK is wearing a crimson mask. HBK whips Edge, Edge reverses, and HBK hits a million dollar knee. Somehow, both men are down and HBK rolls out of the ring.

He grabs the ladder and brings it into the ring. HBK gets the ladder dropkicked into his face for his efforts and then he goes for a pin, but HBK kicks out. Edge slowly gets up onto the top turnbuckle, and this allows HBK to recover enough to toss the ladder into Edge’s head to knock him to the outside.

HBK hits a weak suicide dive on Edge and then he punches Edge in the head. He rolls Edge back in and then picks up the ladder. He positions the ladder horizontally in the corner and then chops Edge. HBK whips Edge, but Edge stops himself and drop toe holds HBK face first into the ladder. Edge goes for a pin, but HBK kicks out and Edge has HBK’s blood on his face.

Edge sets up the ladder and then body slams HBK. Edge climbs the ladder and he is able to splash HBK. He covers HBK, but he is able to kick out. Come on Edge!! You gotta win!!! (HBK is cool, but Edge needs this win) .

Edge has a chair in his hands now, but HBK is able to drop Edge and catapult him into the ladder. HBK grabs the chair now, and that shot to Edge’s head was tremendous! HBK is having trouble standing due to the massive blood loss, and we see that Edge has pulled a Kendo stick from underneath the ring.

Edge re-enters the ring with the stick in hand, but misses a shot to the head of HBK. HBK is getting all fired up and he grabs the Kendo stick. He cracks it over Edge’s skull and then he heads to the top of the turnbuckle. He hits his elbow drop and HBK’s leg is twitching severely. It’s time to tune up the band! HBK rips off his shirt and the stomps ring throughout the arena.

HBK misses the SCM, allowing Edge to low blow him using the steel chair. Edge scares off the timekeeper and swipes his chair. Edge is going to set HBK up for the one-man Conchairto. He lays HBK’s head on the chair and grabs the other. Edge is preparing to swing, but HBK is able to recover and hit a low blow.

HBK grabs a steel chair, but Edge fires out of the corner with the Spear. Edge goes for a pin, but HBK miraculously kicks out and Edge is bawling like a little baby. Oooh, boy…Edge is gonna steal a page from HBK’s book as he gets ready to tune up a band of his own, but HBK quickly nails the SCM for the win.

Winner: Shawn Michaels

Just then, HBK is attacked from behind by what appears to be a fan, but then we find out it’s Kurt Angle! He beats the living daylights out of HBK and then he connects with the Angle Slam to leave HBK bloodied and battered in the middle of the ring. Angle takes the mic and Shawn Michaels, as far as his challenge at Wrestlemania is concerned, Angle accepts.

We see a team of security guards make their way out to escort Angle out of the arena, but he jumps the barrier and exits through the crowd. We see a motionless HBK in the ring with Angle looking on from the crowd.

WWE RAW Results (3/7/05): Kurt Angle; Lita Returns, Christy!
07 Mar 2005 by Ryan Clark

Event: WWE Monday Night RAW Results
Date: Monday, March 7th, 2005
Location: The RBC Center in Raleigh, NC
Results by PowerWrestling.com

The Heart Break Kid:

Shawn Michaels makes his way to the ring as highlights are shown last week of Kurt Angle's beating on HBK. HBK grabs a mic and starts the party. He says despite what happened at the Royal Rumble, he was really hoping that Kurt Angle and himself could go to WrestleMania, put on a wrestling classic, tear the house down, and leave them all with something to remember for years to come. LAst week, Angle changed all that. HBK goes on to reflect on last weeks attack by Angle. HBK says he has been beaten many times but he is a doormat for nobody. He says Angle came to his house, so he had to go to Angle's house as well. They roll the footage of HBK on Smackdown. HBK says it has been a long time since he has felt rage, but he is feeling it now, and it stems from doubt. He says Kurt Angle, despite all his olympic medals, championships, he's never had the chance to go to the biggest stage of them all and display his ability against MR. WRESTLEMANIA! He says this is the WWE, where they make dreams come true, and at WrestleMania, Angle will get his chance to find out why they call him The ShowSTOPPA, and we will find out who is the greatest performer of their generation. Angle comes on the Titan Tron and says HBK hit it on the head. He says this goes all the way back to 1996, he says it was the year he trained his ass off, broke his neck, and still won the gold medal. He says it ate him up that people were always asking him when he would go pro, when you would put on a clinic like Shawn Michaels, and so on. He says if he started in the WWE earlier, he would have shattered all of HBK's records. Angle says on Smackdown, in 4 weeks, he will accomplish everything HBK has in his entire career. He then says it's hard to hit sweet chin music when your ankle is snapped in two. HBK stares at the screen and does not reply.

We cut to the back where HHH is coming to the ring for singles action.

Non Title Match
Referee: Earl Hebner
Rosey vs. Triple H (c)

The start:

HHH charges at Rosey on the apron but Rosey gives him big right hands knocking him down. Rosey throws blows at him and whips him off the ropes. HHH goes for an early pedigree but rosey back drops him and then sits on him. Rosey splashes HHH in the corner but misses a moonsault. HHH counters and dives on Rosey with right hands followed by a naked choke. Hebner calls for a break so HHH runs off the ropes and knees Rosey in his side sending him to the outside. Outside the ring, HHH tosses Rosey into the steel steps sending them flying.

Mid match notes/Finish:

HHH tosses Rosey back in the ring where he gives the huge man a spinebuster right in the middle of the ring. HHH hovers above Rosey before lifting him up and planting him with the pedigree. HHH slowly makes the count to get the victory.

HHH slides under the ring where he grabs a sledge hammer. He rolls back into the ring and eyes Rosey up. He runs at Rosey and gives him a shot right in the side of the ribs! HHH grabs his world title, gets on the apron, and leaves the ring with his arms raised in the air. EMT's attend to Rosey.

They show a recap of Christy Hemme posing nude for Plasyboy. We posted the photos earlier today and promise you can get them at the link at the bottom. Just backstage behind the scenes stuff shown on RAW

Winner: HHH

Ric Flair is sitting in the back when HHH comes in. He holds the hammer and says "I love this thing!" He says he can feel their ribs crack right through the handle. Flair is kind of not interested. HHH asks him what is wrong and Flair shrugs it off before finally telling him that he is upset that HHH made the match against Batista last week. HHH calms him down and tells him that he won't be alone and that he is the man and that HHH is going to bring his friend. (the Hammer) Flair calms down and says he is feeling it now!

6 man "Money in the Bag" Match?

Jericho, Benjamin, Benoit, Christian, and Edge are all in Easy E's office. They are all asking each other what the hell they are doing here. Bischoff comes in and says that last week, Jericho proposed a 6 man ladder match, and Bischoff granted the request. Edge thinks this is B.S and he goes to leave but Bischoff tells him it's fine if he wants to leave and pass up the world title shot. At WrestleMania, 6 men will fight in a "Money in the Bag" match. A contract in a suitcase will be hung above the ring. The 6 men will fight for the briefcase and if they will, they can use that contract to get a world title match ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, in the next 12 months. He says they wsill all have a match tonight, Jericho vs. Edge, Benoit vs. Shelton, and Christian, Christian says he's so good at ladder matches he has the night off, right? Bischoff says there is a 6th man and Christian will wrestle him next.

There is a ladder in the ring after the break. Christian comes to the ring and he awaits his opponent. The ladder is taken out and put outside the ring as this is not a ladder match. Pyro hits and the sixth man for the ladder match is KANE!

Referee: Jack Doan
Kane vs. Christian

The start:

Christian tries to get the early upper hand but Kane throws him in the corner and then beghind to beat him around. Christian avoids a splash in the corner as Tomko gets a cheap shot clothesline in on Kane. christian steps on the throat of Kane and when he turns, Tyson gives Kane another shot to the head.

Mid Match Notes:

Kane begins to fight back, Christian ducks a blow and jumps on Kane's back with a sleeper hold. Kane struggles to stay on his feet, but he eventually turns the sleeper into a nice sidewalk slam. He tosses Christian to the corner and splashes him, he whips him to the other corner and then gives him a titl a while powerslam. Kane calls for the chokeslam but Christian ducks, only to run into a big boot! Kane goes to the top but Tomko distracts him, Kane comes off the rop rope but christian rolls out of the way.

The Finish:
