EMOTIONAL NIGHT
Sept. 20, 2004

RAW meant different things to different people Monday night in Tucson, AZ.

For Triple H, he once again suffered the indignity of watching Randy Orton take Evolution’s best punch, only to get up and spoil another party.

For Christy Hemme, it was a night of celebration, as the red-haired California hottie beat out Carmella Decesare and won the $250,000 RAW Diva Search.

For Kane, it was a pure nightmare, as his pregnant wife Lita lost her baby just one week after an accidental collision in the ring.

And for WWE fans, it was a night of empowerment. Mr. McMahon opened the show with his major announcement, and as usual, the boss delivered with some groundbreaking news.

On October 19, RAW will produce a special Taboo Tuesday pay-per-view live from Milwaukee. And, according to Mr. McMahon, it will be an interactive affair, as fans will be given the authority to make the match-ups and even decide match stipulations in some cases.

Vince did take the liberty to announce one match himself. RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff will face his unique nephew Eugene, who arrived at RAW with some attitude Monday, knocking his uncle out after Bischoff tried to talk his way out of a Taboo Tuesday battle.

Of course, Bischoff’s problems don’t compare with the trauma Kane went through on RAW. The Big Red Monster was actually in the hospital room when local doctors announced Lita had lost her baby. Kane became emotionally distraught upon hearing the tragic news.

Orton had an eventful night himself. After being demolished outside the ring by Triple H and Batista during the main event six-man tag match, he was carted off, nearly unconscious; leaving partners Shelton Benjamin and Chris Benoit behind to take on blood-thirsty Evolution.

And just when Evolution thought it had the upper hand, Orton returned with a vengeance, sprinting down the ramp and into the ring and pouncing on Ric Flair with a RKO for the win.

There was also a terrific match for the Intercontinental Championship that ended as a no contest. Seven-time Intercontinental Champion Chris Jericho defended his title against former three-time champion Shawn Michaels.

But no winner would emerge as Christian, the self-proclaimed Show-stealer interfered twice, and the second time possibly costing HBK the championship. Christian and Tyson Tomko then beat the Showstopper down in the middle of the ring for good measure.

Match Results:
Stacy Keibler & Victoria defeats Trish Stratus & Molly Holly
Tajiri def. The Hurricane
HBK vs. Chris Jericho (No Contest)
Maven def. Sylvan Grenier
Randy Orton, Shelton Benjamin & Chris Benoit def. Evolution

FLAIR FOR THE DRAMATIC
Sept. 27, 2004

With his shot at regaining the World Heavyweight Championship hanging in the balance, Randy Orton delivered a speech for the ages.

The former champion had certainly caught the ear of Ric Flair on RAW Monday night. Orton all but called the Nature Boy washed up, mocking the 16-time World Champion for his undying allegiance to Triple H and Evolution. He even called Flair a glorified cheerleader.

Of course, Orton’s motivational ploy had a distinct purpose.

Orton needed to defeat Batista in a No Disqualification Match to be eligible for a title shot against Triple H on Taboo Tuesday on Oct. 19, and weakening Evolution by turning Flair against The Game seemed like an ingenious plan.

But while Orton’s words got Flair to think, they weren’t enough to make him act.

Flair passed up on the chance to defy Triple H. Instead, he rattled Orton with a crippling chair shot to the back that ultimately cost him his match with Batista and his chance to be on the Taboo Tuesday ballot.

The main event actually salvaged an otherwise rough night for Triple H. After he promptly insulted the Kemper Arena fans and denounced the whole idea of Taboo Tuesday, he then found himself in a match with Shelton Benjamin.

Benjamin actually beat Triple H for a third time on RAW, but this time it came via disqualification as a frustrated Triple H walloped the talented Benjamin with the title belt.

The Orton-Triple H feud isn’t the only rivalry reaching new levels lately.

Christian and Tyson Tomko defeated Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho in an entertaining tag team match in Kansas City. Christian, the self-proclaimed show-stealer, actually heisted the win, pinning HBK while using the top rope for leverage.

The party thrown for new RAW Diva Christy Hemme was hardly a celebration. In fact, Trish Stratus enlisted Hemme in her first match, a 3-on-1 Handicap Bra and Panties Match featuring the newest Diva against herself, Gail Kim and Molly Holly.

The match lasted mere seconds as Hemme was stripped down. Still, the always resilient and upbeat rookie left the ring with her chin up to the delight of the crowd.

Also, there was more news regarding the Eugene and Eric Bischoff match at Taboo Tuesday, including some possible stipulations for the loser.

With Lita still too shaken up to talk on camera, Kane gave an emotional interview on RAW. The Big Red Monster also promised his unborn baby son would not die alone, guaranteeing Gene Snitsky, the man whose chair shot triggered the fatal collision, would pay with his life.

Match Results:
Batista defeats Randy Orton (No DQ match)
Christian & Tyson Tomko def. Chris Jericho & HBK
Shelton Benjamin def. Triple H via DQ
The Hurricane & Rosey def. Rhyno & Tajiri
Gene Snitsky def. Val Venis
Gail Kim, Trish Stratus & Molly Holly def. Christy Hemme (Bra and Panties Match)

BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG EVENT
Oct. 4, 2004

Big things tend to happen when WWE visits New York City. And Monday night’s RAW live from Madison Square Garden was no exception.

There were major Taboo Tuesday announcements, Gene Snitsky and Kane had an ugly encounter, Eugene possibly has a girlfriend and Randy Orton simply won’t go away.

The man who gave Mr. McMahon the idea for WWE’s historic interactive pay-per-view could be the show’s biggest loser.

Not only will the fans get to choose Chris Jericho’s opponent in his Intercontinental Championship match, they will have the option to select from every Superstar on the RAW roster not already scheduled to compete.

Triple H’s opponent will be one of three Superstars: Shawn Michaels, who defeated Christian earlier in the night on RAW, Chris Benoit or Edge, who has never battled Triple H for the World Heavyweight Championship.

Ric Flair, who has been questioning Randy Orton’s status as a Legend Killer recently, will face the former champion at Taboo Tuesday. For that showdown, fans will decide what type of match it will be: Falls Count Anywhere, Steel Cage or a Submission Match.

There will even be some Diva action on Taboo Tuesday as RAW Diva search runner-up Carmella will face winner Christy. Carmella made an MSG appearance, as the sore loser and General Manager Eric Bischoff nearly brought Eugene to tears with their merciless teasing.

But Christy would defend Eugene, pushing Carmella to the mat and then landing a long wet kiss on Eugene before leaving the ring together.

Kane has definitely had better nights. After Snitsky once again claimed the death of Kane and Lita’s unborn son wasn’t his fault in an interview with Jim Ross, Kane stormed the ring, only to be greeted with a lead pipe. Snitsky hit the Big Red Monster six times, opening up a wound on his head and leaving Kane a bloody mess.

Later in the night, Bischoff announced that Kane would see Snitsky again at Taboo Tuesday in a Weapons of Choice Match. Fans will decide whether a lead pipe, steel chair or steel chain will be used.

RAW’s main event also had no shortage of drama as Triple H and Jericho squared off in a Lumberjack Match. All of the Lumberjacks were possible Jericho opponents at Taboo Tuesday. And one of them — Rhyno — actually got involved when he speared Y2J, allowing Triple H to land the Pedigree and record the win.

But before the night was over, a fuming Orton, who had earlier been escorted out of the building per orders of Bischoff, returned with a vengeance, landing RKO’s on anyone he could find, even poor Coach.

Match Results:
Triple H defeats Chris Jericho
HBK def. Christian
Batista def. Chris Benoit (DQ)
La Resistance def. Hurricane & Rosey
Stacy Keibler def. Molly

xx WWE RAW Report (10/11/04) - Taped in Manchester, E
« Reply #4 on: Oct 12th, 2004, 02:03am »

For the first time ever, RAW emanates from the United Kingdom - Manchester, England. Tonight, Trish Stratus defends her women’s title against Stacy Keibler while William Regal and Eugene challenge La Resistance for the tag titles. And finally, in a six-man tag match, Chris Benoit, Edge, Shawn Michaels vs. The Evolution.

Stacy Keibler vs. Trish Stratus
-Trish spends most of the match working on Stacy’s left leg and kicks her violently in the knee before nailing the “Chick Kick” for the victory. After the match, Molly comes down to beat up Trish but Nidia runs in for the save. This brings out Gail Kim and finally, Victoria before the faces clean house.

Coming up next, La Resistance takes on William Regal & Eugene. Another promo for Simon Dean airs. He tells us that chances are, he doesn’t like us and then shills his Simon System product.

La Resistance vs. William Regal & Eugene
-Regal hits Grenier with the brass knuckles to score the pinfall and win the titles. After the commercial break, Eric Bischoff orders the referee to re-start the match because of Regal’s illegal activity.

Backstage, Eric Bischoff stops La Resistance and congratulates them from retaining their titles. B But he says he’s done helping them because they didn’t do their job - that being to soften up Eugene for him. Bischoff angrily announces that they will defend their titles at Taboo Tuesday against whichever two superstars don’t get to face Triple H!

Backstage, a concerned Triple H tells Ric Flair that his three potential opponents will try to take him out before the PPV. Batista says they got his back and Triple H looks at him and asks “do you?” Batista re-assures Triple H that no matter if they come head on or from behind, they will stand by his side.

They recap the entire series of events leading to Kane vs. Gene Snitsky. Gene Snitsky is interviewed and says that he knew exactly what he was doing last week. He says that Kane left him three choices: a) run and hide, b) throw his hands up in the air and get beat up or c) launch a pre-emptive strike. Snitsky says in response to Kane’s comment that he’s dead that the only thing dead around here is Kane’s baby…which wasn’t his fault. Snitsky promises that once he gets done with Kane after Taboo Tuesday, he’ll be the one crying like a baby. Snitsky starts to cry like a baby and the camera pans out and we see Kane huffing and puffing. I think he’s mad.

Hurricane & Rosey vs. Val Venis & Steven Richards
-Before the match even starts, Kane comes down and beats everyone up with a chair. He destroys Val Venis with the chair on the ramp.

When we come back, we see Val Venis being loaded onto a stretcher and wheeled out due to his injuries.

Randy Orton comes out and says that at Taboo Tuesday, he’ll be taking on a man he idolized - Ric Flair. He says he has mixed emotions because on one hand, Flair cost him the most important thing he wants in his entire life - the world title and for that, he will get even. But on the other hand, he wants to face the real Nature Boy rather than the shell of a man he has become. This prompts Flair to come out. Flair calls himself the most famous legend of them all and says when he looks at Orton, he sees a man in a custom made suit with the Rolex watch and he looks like a champion. But Flair says he is the man and he invented being the man and has kissed many women on the lips. Flair says that Orton has established himself as great but a legend killer, he is not. Orton guarantees that he’ll beat him at Taboo Tuesday and after the PPV, Flair will respect him.

Later tonight, Evolution takes on Michaels, Benoit and Edge.

Chris Jericho vs. Rhyno
-Tyson Tomko and Christian run out and beat up Chris Jericho which causes Jonathan Coachman to come out. Coach announces on Bischoff’s behalf that the match will re-start except this time it will be Tomko & Christian up against Jericho & Rhyno.

Tyson Tomko & Christian vs. Chris Jericho & Rhyno
-Rhyno hits the Gore on Tomko and Jericho follows it up with the Lionsault to score the pin. After the match, Christian hits Rhyno with the title belt but Jericho puts Christian in the Walls of Jericho and doesn’t let go until Batista runs out, attacks him and hits a powerbomb.

Backstage, Shawn Michaels asks Chris Benoit if he’s ready. Benoit says yes but Michaels tells him that he’s going out there tonight to do what’s best for him. Benoit questions that and Michaels says that he will do what he always does to ensure that he’s the right man to face Triple H at Taboo Tuesday. Benoit promises that he won’t let Shawn steal the spotlight. As they are chatting, Edge comes in and thanks them sarcastically for including him in the discussion. Michaels says that he and Benoit aren’t worthy of title shots vs. Triple H according to Edge last week. Edge doesn’t back down and says he deserves the title shot and tonight, he’ll prove it.

They recap last week’s Smackdown!.

Jim Ross wishes John Cena a speedy recovery after being involved in an altercation at a nightclub near Boston.

Recap of the Christy/Carmella “feud".

They run down the prospective Taboo Tuesday lineup, including a just announced Women’s championship battle royal. The audience will vote on what the divas will wear.

Chris Benoit, Shawn Michaels & Edge vs. Evolution
-Benoit puts the figure four on Flair which ends up bringing everyone else in. Michaels puts the figure four on Triple H while at the very same time, Edge puts one on Batista. As the ref finally gains control of the match, we go to commercial. The finish sees Benoit hit the flying headbutt on Triple H with Michaels attempting to follow it up with the Sweet Chin Music. But Edge tags himself in and almost gets Pedigreed so Shawn rescues him with the super-kick. Michaels is kicked out by the ref and Edge just falls on Triple H and pins him for the victory.

After the match, Michaels, Benoit and Edge debate on who should get the nod to face Triple H at Taboo Tuesday. Michaels tries to get a live vote going but Edge spears him before he can finish. As Benoit steps in, Eric Bischoff appears and announces a triple threat match for next week so they can prove to the people on who the real #1 contender is. After Bischoff concludes his announcement, Edge spears Benoit too as Benoit checks on Shawn.

End of show.

GET UP AND VOTE
OCT. 18, 2004

The Superstars stated their case Monday night on RAW. Now it’s all up to WWE fans to decide.

Edge bested Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels in a Triple Threat Match fewer than 24 hours before the fans will place one of the three in the ring against World Heavyweight Champion Triple H at Taboo Tuesday. The Cerebral Assassin was at ringside offering his thoughts and analysis, but we saw none of his usual mind games. There was just no way for him to focus his aggression with three different potential challengers. Instead, The Game watched and waited — hoping the three would damage each other beyond repair so close to the pay-per-view — as more than a million individual votes were cast. (The voting is still open; cast your vote now.)

When Edge rolled up Benoit for the three-count, using the ropes for leverage, we had a Triple Threat winner.

But it’s still in the fans’ hands as to who will win the ultimate prize: a chance to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at Taboo Tuesday.

A momentous RAW also saw Mr. Benjamin win a Six-Man Elimination Match for the Taboo Tuesday endorsement of none other than Mr. McMahon himself. But Shelton proved to be much more concerned with the votes of the public, rather than the singular vote of Mr. McMahon.

One man who hoped to impress the Peepulation going into Taboo Tuesday was Christian, but he fell victim to Benjamin’s T-bone suplex.

Chris Jericho may have used the results of that match as a window into what awaits him at Taboo Tuesday, where he’ll have 15 different possible opponents. That is, if he had the energy to watch a match after giving his all in a tag-team battle earlier in the evening.

After taking a vicious clothesline from the animal Batista, Y2J simply had to tap when Flair locked in the Figure Four.

From that match Jericho got a look at Batista, a big man who hopes to get a shot at the Intercontinental Championship at Taboo Tuesday. Jericho’s partner on RAW, Randy Orton got one last chance to have it out with Flair before the fans place them in one of three precarious circumstances at the pay-per-view: Will it be Flair and Orton in a Falls Count Anywhere Match, a Submission Match or a Steel Cage Match? You decide.

And Gene Snitsky sent a clear message to Kane by way of Eugene on Monday night. First, Snitsky pinned Eugene after a pump-handle slam. Then, the unapologetic newcomer blasted William Regal with a steel chair. At Taboo Tuesday, it’ll be a Weapon of Choice Match between Snitsky and Kane, and WWE fans decide if a steel chair, a chain or a lead pipe will be totally legal.

Match Results:
Gene Snitsky defeats Eugene
Victoria, Nidia & Stacy Keibler def. Gail Kim, Molly Holly and Trish Stratus
Evolution def. Randy Orton and Chris Jericho
Mr. Benjamin def. Christian, The Hurricane, Rhyno, Jonathan Coachman and Tajiri (Six-Man Elimination Match)
Edge def. Shawn Michaels and Chris Benoit (Triple Threat Match)

WWE RAW Results (10/25): The Inmates Run The Asylum!

A recap of Taboo Tuesday was shown. Bischoff got his head shaved. Coach had to wear a dress. Shelton received the IC title, and Orton added another notch to his belt by beating Ric Flair. Oh and the Divas dressed as School Girls and Trish was the hottest of them as always. The whole match between Bischoff and Eugene was shown, and Vince McMahon made Eric shave his head or he was fired. Vince then made Coach put on a dress.

In the Arena the music of Eric Bischoff hit and he made his way out in a cap to cover up his head. He said he is sick and he is tired. He was brought into this job, as GM of Raw to have changes and make an impact. But everytime he does. Everytime he puts his foot down, someone breaks it off and shoves it down his throat. He is sick and he is tired of things like his bald head. He showed it to the world. Stuff like that happening to one of the most important names in this industry. So if anyone thinks they can do a better job than Eric Bischoff running Raw, because tonight for the first time, he is gonna give himself the night off. Tonight the inmates are running the Asylum. Tonight Shelton Benjamin will have a rematch with Chris Jericho.

The music of Evolution hit and they made their way out to the ring. Triple H still has the World Title, and with Bischoff not in charge, you have to wonder what will go down. Triple H grabbed a microphone he wanted to ask us a question. He said we loved having the power didn't we? Yeah we did. Power is intoxicating isn't it? Well tonight since Bischoff has the night off, he has taken it upon himself to say Evolution is running the show. It isn't cause he is the World Champ, it's because there is strength in number. Might makes right, and Evolution is in charge, because there is no one who can say different. Tonight we are gonna start out and Triple H turned to Flair, and said anything he wants tonight, he will give it to him. Flair took the mic and said not knowing that the events of this evening, what Flair wants is Randy Orton again. Flair said beating him at Taboo Tuesday didn't make Orton a legend, it made him lucky. Flair is still the legend, and Hunter and Batista agreed. Flair said Orton is someone lucky to be able to walk that aisle. He said being the man and staying the man are two different things. Flair begged Hunter to let him have Orton tonight. Wooo! Hunter said if Flair wanted Orton, then as his first act in charge of Raw he is ordering Randy Orton versus Ric Flair tonight.

The music of Randy Orton hit and he came out onto the stage, mic in hand. Orton asked if he heard him correctly. Is Hunter ordering him to face Flair. Orton said he takes orders from nobody. Isn't Hunter a nobody? Hunter said he will tonight. Orton said he beat Flair last Tuesday, and he will do it again. Orton said he proved one thing and that is he is the legend killer. Orton said just cause Bischoff isn't here, doesn't give Evolution full reign. The crowd started an RKO chant.

He will not listen to anything Evolution has to say. The boys in the back won't listen, and the people won't listen. Orton said Flair wants a match with him, well he wants the World Heavyweight title. Hunter said let this be a lesson to everyone. This is the attitude that would get someone's ass kicked tonight. Hunter said he was in a good mood and he'd make Orton a deal. If Orton wants a shot at Hunter for the title he's got it, but first he has to beat Flair again. Orton said he's beat him before, he'll beat him again. Orton says to be the man you have to be the man, well Orton beat the man last Tuesday so that makes him the man. Hunter said Orton sounded confident, and he'll pencil his name in for the title at Survivor Series, but if he doesn't beat Flair, he loses, then Orton will never get a shot at the world title again, as long as Hunter is champ. And Hunter plans on being champ for a long time. Flair said legend killers never back down, only march forward and told Orton to come on. Hunter asked if Orton was confident in himself. Orton said he was thinking of how much he will enjoy kicking Hunter's ass and taking his title, and that Flair had a deal.

Intercontinental Championship Match
Chris Jericho vs. Shelton Benjamin (c)
The music of Shelton Benjamin hit and he made his way out to defend the Intercontinental Title. The music of Jericho hit and he made his way down the ramp wanting the IC Title.

The bell rung and the two circled. They locked up and Jericho got Shelton in a headlock. Shelton Irih whipped Jericho, but Jericho took Shelton down with a shoulder block. Shelton came up and took Jericho down with an arm drag and applied an armbar.Jericho fought his way up to his feet, and twisted the arm of Shelton behind his back. Shelton reversed into a hammerlock, and Jericho took Shelton down with a suplex. Shelton countered into an arm bar.

Jericho came up to his feet and nailed a right hand to Shelton. Jericho knocked Shelton into the corner and Shelton countered by tossing the head of Jericho into the turnbuckle. Shelton went for a splash but hit his head on the ring post as Jericho moved. Jericho went to the top rope and hit a cross body on Shelton to the outside. Back from commercial, Jericho had Shelton in a back stretcher over his knee. Shelton fought back with some rights to knock Jericho off. Shelton nailed a right hand and came off the ropes, but Jericho took Shelton down for a two count. Jericho stomped away on the back of Shelton. He brought Shelton up to his feeet and went to the top. Shelton nailed some rights on Jericho and went to the second rope. Benjamin hit a hurricanranna to take Jericho down.

Both men lay on the arena floor and the referee Chad Patton started the ten count. Jericho came up and nailed rights to Benjamin. Benjamin fought back and won the slug fest. Shelton took Jericho down with a spin kick for a two count. Shelton Irish whipped Jeircho, but Jericho took Shelton to the apron and took him down with a kick to the head. Shelton laid on the outside as Jericho brought him back in. Jericho took Benjamin down with a clothesline for a two count. Jericho came up and brought Shelton up too. Shelton's head was sent into the turnbuckle and Shelton sent Jericho to the corner. Jericho got a kick to the face, but Shelton fought back with the t-bone for a two count.

Jericho came up and tried for a backslide, but Shelton countered, Jericho countered. Shelton countered into a cradle, but Jericho went for the walls of Jericho. Shelton went up top for a sunset flip. Jericho countered in the walls again, but Shelton rolled Jericho up for the pinfall.

Winner and still Intercontinental Champion, Shelton Benjamin

Jericho came up and he wasn't happy. Shelton celebrated, and Jericho got in Benjamin's face. The two men stared at each other. The two shook in the middle of the ring and Jericho left the ring so Shelton could celebrate. Christian then came into the ring and took Shelton down. Christian nailed Benjamin with some right hands and then took him down with the Unprettier. Christian grabbed the IC title and told Benjamin it was his. Christian held it up as the crowd didn't like that.

Backstage Coach and Bischoff were shown and Coach doesn't have his dress. Bischoff poured himself a martini as we went to commercial.

Backstage Evolution was shown talking to Christy, and Flair said she was the kind of girl Evolution could take out all night long. Christy declined, but Triple H got in her face. Jericho walked by, and Hunter went after him. Hunter talked to him, but the audio went out. Hunter's lips were moving. Jericho then called Hunter a jackass. Maven showed up to even the odds and Hunter called him Tiger Woods and asked if he wanted some. Benoit then showed up and asked if there was a problem. Rhyno then showed up and got in Hunter's face, as did Rosey, Hurricane and Tajiri. Hunter said there was no problem and for them not to forget who was in charge.

Shawn Michaels is here live tonight, and we will talk to him later tonight JR said. They then showed a recap of Edge coming in second on the voting. He looked pissed and said Shawn took his shot away from him, I cried. Edge said the tag titles was a consolation prize and he walked out on Benoit. They then show Michaels losing because of interferance by Edge.

JR was in the ring and he thanked everyone for voting. He had fun cause of us. Unfortunately Edge has refused to appear live, but he is here via satellite. JR asked if he would explain to us why he did what he did at Taboo Tuesday. Edge said the title was not HBK's to win, it was his. Does he need to spell it out for us once again. Well he will. He defeated Triple H in a tag match, and he defeated Benoit and Michaels, and he got taken for granted. Was it sympathy? Edge said let's talking about injuries, he had a broken neck damn it. He fought through a broken hand and came back. He busted his ass at Summerslam and the people booed him. And because of six percent his life changed. The reason he isn't here tonight, is because people take him for granted. He figured it out, they don't deserve to see him. He'll be back when he is damn good and ready. JR then said one man that is here live, and had knee surgery Friday is Shawn Michaels. HBK's music hit and the crowd acted like a bunch of girls. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH, he's so sexy. Oh and he has crutches. He took forever to get to the ring, and I wish he would've opted for a wheel chair. JR helped him in, that wasn't pretty.

Michaels stood up and JR said he doesn't deserve to be in the ring with HBK, so he left. Michaels thanked Jim and let the crowd chant his name. Michaels said hello Des Moines, Iowa. He said as he was listening to Edge rattle on with the laundry list, he wanted to be impressed, but had those spanned a course of twenty years, he would be tough, but since it happened in six months it makes him clumsy and fragile. HBK said it has taken twenty years to break his body down, but he still shows up at work. And speaking of dragging himself to work, he has to tell us Taboo Tuesday was exciting, not just for him, but every WWE superstar had an excitement he hasn't seen here since he has been back. There was something special. It's called weed. But it is not weed, it's because we let the fans have their fingers on the pulse to do what they do. At Taboo Tuesday we had a choice on who faced Hunter for the World Title. HBK said their wasn't enough of a woman for him, but he started thinking they do this because they love the roar of the crowd. That feeling you get when adrenaline makes you do things no sane man would do. They do it because something way down deep inside, tells you to get out there and show off. He said they knew he was hurt, but they still wanted to see HHH and HBK one more time. Not really, but eh what can I do? When HBK came back, guys came up to him and acted like he was doing something heroic. Asked why he did it and possibly cause a career threatening to him. He didn't do what he did because of a John Wayne complex, he didn't do it to hurt himself more, or to look tough, he did it because we voted for him. Not me, but whatever. And he couldn't see how he couldn't go out there, but he did. For what it's worth he gave us him. Yay. The crowd chanted his name and pissed themselves again.

He wants to take this oppurtunity to challenge everyone in the back, that at Taboo Tuesday the fans proved they would be there, but it is time the WWE superstars are there for them. Two and a half years ago, he came back for him to see if he could still do this, but boys and girls he is coming back for us. Yay, now we piss ourselves again. And incase anyone in the back was wondering, he may be down, but he isn't out. He will be back, and he will take it to town for us. Yay! On behalf of him and every superstar Taboo Tuesday reminded him it was about us. From the bottom of his heart, thank you and good night! His music hit and he left. Yay!

Backstage Maven was shown being interviewed by Todd Grisham. He said he did, and tonight he is throwing out the rulebook. Batista showed up and pushed Maven out of the way. Tonight it's about Evolution, but Maven got in his face, and said tonight his impact will be made on Batista, and he challenged Batista to a match. Batista said Maven wasn't worth his time or his energy. Maven slapped Batista and ran. He told Batista to meet him in the ring.

Batista brought Maven up and Maven fought back. Batista sent Maven into the corner and took him down. Batista stomped away on Maven and then choked him with a boot. Maven tried to come up, but Batista nailed Maven with a right hand. Batista draped Maven over the top rope and then knocked him to the outside.

Batista followed to the outside and sent Maven into the steel steps. Maven countered and sent Batista head first into the barricade, but Batista fought back. Batista came into the ring and Maven hit a shoulder to Batista. Maven hit some elbows and then a drop kick. Maven took Batista down with a forearm. Batista came up and rammed Maven into the corner. Maven ducked and Batista went into the turnbuckle. Maven went up top, but Batista moved and then set maven up for a powerbomb, but Maven countered and rolled up Batista for the victory.

Batista came up and he couldn't believe what just happened. Batista went up the ramp after Maven and Maven crawled away. Benoit then came out and got in the face of Batista as did Jericho. Batista stared the two men down, and they helped Maven up. Batista stared down the three men.

William Regal vs. Gene Snitsky

The music of William Regal hit and he came out ready for action. Snitsky attacked him from behind and threw him into the barricade and then into the ring. The bell sounded and Snitsky took Regal down in a pump handle slam for the pinfall victory.

Winner - Gene Snitsky

They showed Lita and Trish walked up to her and said she looked pretty. Trish was glad she bumped into Lita, because what a year she has had. She got back with Matt, ruined that, and married Kane. Trish asked if Lita fell for the big fellow, but it doesn't matter, because she ruined his career too. Trish said Lita has a lot of men to choose from on Raw, and said as a friend she is concerned about her pregnancy weight. Trish said Lita looked chubby, and Lita attacked Trish. Officials were able to break them up, and Lita wanted to go right now.

Backstage Evolution was shown, and HHH was pissed. This isn't how he planned tonight. Flair was told he could not lose, but Flair said forget it. Remember who they are. Evolution, unbeatable force. World Champ, Nature Boy, and a walking talking machine. No one will dare interfere tonight. Hunter said if they do interfere, Batista and him will have to interfere.

Ric Flair vs. Randy Orton

The music of Flair hit and WOOO! he made his way down to the ring. As the music of Orton hit, we were reminded it is good to play together, because X-Box presents Survivor Series. Orton got in the ring to a rousing ovation. He posed on the ropes.

STRENGTH IN NUMBERS
NOV. 1, 2004

Right music, wrong Superstar.
Ric Flair and Batista practically rejoiced when Triple H’s theme song hit the loudspeakers during Monday Night RAW from Peoria, Ill.
At the time, the Evolution members had their hands full in a Handicap Match against Chris Jericho, Randy Orton and Maven.
But when the smoke cleared, it was none other than Tajiri in a blond wig posing as the World Heavyweight Champion. Flair and Batista had attacked Tajiri earlier in the night. His revenge was both swift and humorous.
However, Batista and the Nature Boy weren’t laughing. Moments later, Batista would get hit with an RKO, as Evolution had yet another rough night on RAW.
Things could get worse at Survivor Series on Nov. 14.
RAW General Manager Eric Bischoff, not a big Evolution fan himself these days, scheduled a classic 8-man elimination tag team match that pits Jericho, Orton, Maven and Chris Benoit vs. Triple H, Batista, Edge and Gene Snitsky.
Flair was left out on purpose on the whim of Bischoff, who added a very special stipulation:
Beginning the day after Survivor Series, the winning team will run RAW as Bischoff takes a month-long vacation.
Triple H never appeared in the ring, making his only appearance via video. He told the entire RAW roster to shape up and realize The Game was their meal ticket.
Meanwhile, La Resistance regained their World Tag Team Championship in unique fashion. La Resistance was supposed to take on the team of Edge & Chris Benoit Monday night.
But Edge decided to spend the match promoting his book with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler. And just when Benoit seemed poised to beat La Resistance by himself again, Edge distracted the referee while Benoit was hit by the Au Revoir.
Edge wasn’t through, however. Obviously still upset about being snubbed by the fans at Taboo Tuesday, Edge mounted a merciless post-match attack on the exhausted Benoit, capped by applying the Crippler Crossface, forcing The Rabid Wolverine to tap out to his own submission move.
Also, Eric Bischoff announced two other championship matches for Survivor Series:
Women’s Champion Trish Stratus will defend her championship against Lita. Trish wasted no time beginning the war of words, trashing Lita’s career during an in-ring segment Monday, luring Lita out to defend herself. But Gail Kim was there to help Trish send a punishing message to Lita.
Also, Christian will face Intercontinental Champion Shelton Benjamin in a battle of young and hungry Superstars. Christian defeated The Hurricane Monday and then had a surprise for Benjamin. With Tyson Tomko out, Viscera served as Christian’s one-night only 500-pound Problem Solver.
Viscera would manhandle Benjamin, who later in the show had the guts to challenge the massive hired gun to a match, ultimately winning the contest to the dismay of Christian.

Match Results:
Gene Snitsky defeats Eugene (Hardcore Rules Match)
Christian def. The Hurricane
La Resistance def. World Tag Team Champions Edge & Chris Benoit
Shelton Benjamin def. Viscera
Chris Jericho, Randy Orton & Maven def. Ric Flair & Batista
