Sweet. The last chick I saw in a corset was back in 1890. Of course if you want to update me, that'd be cool.

Great start to the week. This morning I woke up at 3pm.

I have compiled a list of 100 books that I'll read in 5 years to culture myself even more than I quite clearly am.

unfortunatly no he isn't. coz then he'd have a cool sword.

he is however the chumplander.

espically with his book plan after personally finding some of these books in question which resulted in a barnados charity shop spending spree.

questio is there a song ever which uses the word chump in it's lyrics?

Sounds like the sort of word Busted would use, then all the 13 year old girls would think it was 'like so profound'. I saw them on Frank Skinner and they are just as thick and annoying as you might have anticipated.

Joe - how is the reading going? What have you started with?

I've not read it but anything about a young and frankly out-of-it Bowie will probably be cool smiley I'm a bit of a fan - so good choice smiley

I bought myself a bunch of books the other day - a new Stephen King because I haven't read one of his for about 5 years, the new Pratchett discworld novel (forget the titles - useless really) plus have ordered nice volumes of the LOTR trilogy, plus some other stuff like psychology books etc. I just read things when I get the time, like drying my hair etc smiley I'm just as happy with a book as Heat magazine (well unless they are sl*gging off Posh 'ooh look at my bunions & sharky teeth' Beckham smiley

Hitchhikers guide to galaxy
the restruant at he end of the univers

Yeah but there is no rush is there - and if you have the motivation to read them and put no time constraints on yourself you can read and enjoy them all.

Bowie sucks dude, the only songs worth sticking my penis into my toaster are Hero and that one where he sings really high... Starman or whatever.

I'm starting with Watership Down (yes I know it's essentially a kid's book but I've got to read it because it's on my list).
It's a real mixed-bag including... to my own shame, a Harry Potter book.

Oh - I see a children's collection - hey you'll be onto those teen novels from Smiths' with the jazzy covers before you know it. smiley

Never read a Potter book yet - Lou loves the first of the movies though - he is also addicted to LOTR and we're gonna let him watch the Two Towers tomorrow. He's fascinated with fantasy elements, wizards etc which is kind of sweet.

The only thing I read this morning was Cosmo.

But I'm getting a new exercise bike for Xmas, so no doubt I will be propping up reading material on the handlebars and reading away on that soon enough smiley

Anyone planning anything nice for Xmas or getting anything good this year?

I hardly think Machiavelli, E.M. Forster, Fyodor Dostoevsky or Elmore Leonard are children's authors.... huh? Do you? Huh? Well, do you? Huh?

Hah.

I'm going out now with macavity and possibly Stainiak to get as drunk as Yeti spunk

You are just one big contradiction.... feed the brain in the day, then promply kill off as many braincells as possible during the evening.

Nice one smiley Did you have a good evening sir?

Yeah it was alright. Stainiak was a no-show, but macavity was drinking Guiness and cider... yeah he's an idiot.

I now know all the words to the first verse of Bat out of Hell. That's my main success from yesterday.
