Jump Around - is that the House of Pain classic? Ooh - makes me feel liike a teen again..... *shudder*

My lil boy still not great - but he is potty training because I took away the nappies (diapers) cold-turkey style smiley He is being very compliant and has impressed the crap out of me to be honest. I knew he could do it - he is just stubborn and didn't see the point while he had nappies on.....

Gonna buy a new Sony tv - lovely it is, we bought a cheapy one a few years back and I'm sick of calling up the mastarcare people to fix it. It's just come back all 'fixed' - so we are going to flog the thing and start afresh. Steer clear of Hitachi tv's people - bag o' shite os the phrase that springs immediately to mind.

Joseph - how has it been to finally sever the ties with the DSG and how have your first couple of days of freedom been?

Matty - how are you babe? Hope all is well.

Shibby - you will pass it eventually - have you thought of dressing in a short skirt or something to detract from your driving - hehe? smiley

Missy sorry about the kitten, but I do think Samwise is a pretty cool name - but then my hub's a LOTR nut... so I guess I've just been brainwashed smiley

I agree that Samwise isn't SUCH a bad name, but I love the name Tonka so much better.

I went to basketball practice today. First practice, first time i've joined the team. Okay, so it's Senior girls basketball and it's also their 3rd practice, so i'm late. I feel like i'm totaly behind everyone and i don't have a clue where i'm supposed to go. I don't think i'll actually join the team. They were provincial champs last year and i think i'll just bring em down, so for the sake of the team and my school, i'm just gonna do something else. I signed up for Drama club today, i think that's gonna be fun. I'd like to do some scipt writing and acting. It'd be awesome to do some directing, but i doubt i'll get to do that. I love creativity, art, stories, acting and all stuff like that, so it's really gonna be awesome. i can't wait.

I loved acting and filmaking - it's so cool, both performing and also trying to create something for others to see. I'd rather do that than b-ball - I messed up my knee playing that at school and it's never quite been the same since.

Yeah. Art and Drama and stuff is alot more fun than bball. i enjoy creating things just to satisfy myself and my creativity. it's a way of expressing myself and i find it so much fun. I need to work on my writing and acting skills though. It'll come in time i guess. basically, the best peice of acting advice i've ever recieved is basically to keep in mind that "acting is doing" that's all. it just makes sense. meh. anyways.... i am in a bad mood and don't really feel like talking right now. so yeah.

Yeah well good luck with that The_Shibbster!

Sorry I've neglected you guys, I've been busy sleeping till 12, jerking off over Murder She Wrote and drinking rather heavily.

Being free from the corporate shackles of DSG is mighty empowering. I feel now's my chance to grab life by the balls and say "TELL ME WHERE THE LOOT IS...".

I'm going to do a creative writing course when I get the time and hopefully my posts on The Shrine will resemble the English language rather than the mess you see before your very eyes... obviously that's not why I'm taking it though.

I'll live...nobody died in a couple of weeks, but I have had the worst thirty hours of my life courtesy of my parents. I wasn't even there for a full day and a half. Worst visit ever.

Otherwise my life is a complete none event, working 46 horus a week, not going out with much purpose.

Buy things by Starsky, They're better than me and do a good live show.

Matty - maybe when you get to my age your parents will be like mine, - one doesn't contact me at all, and the other stays in contact to see her grandson and make me feel like I'm ten years old again. Something to look forward to then.... smiley

Just don't run yourself into the ground - I know you can cope, but hell, it just isn't an ideal situation, you always came across as a nice bloke, and so the whole scenario just seems.... a bit wank really.....

Joe - nice one with the writing course - if you come up with anything super impressive can we maybe start an Oxfez Literary Corner or something? wink

What, even the Murder She Wrote thing?

Sick...

Well this week has been similar to last week, except I've been playing a lot more on my Playstation 2TM a lot more.

I played LOTR Return of the King (fantastic)
I played Medal of Honor: Rising Sun (phenomenal)
I just got Prince of Persia too (still in its cellophane wrapping)

I can only imagine what my weekend has in store for me... guns, driving, cheap love... I can only imagine them because they're never going to happen.

Album of the week: Biffy Clyro - Blackened Sky
Favourite quote: "Timmy Mallet will call his biography 'I Had a Whack-A-Day."
Saddest moment: When the number 10 door to my Fimbles advent calendar broke off (it's been a pretty emotionless week).

funniest thing: I would have to say was when me and my best friend were hanging out on friday and it got to be like 4 a.m. and we were both getting slaphappy that anything each of us did was funny, and we laughed so hard that when we got up saturday we could not even bend forwar, we felt like we had just done like 200 sit-ups each.

Saddest thing: Was when I had to coem back home from seeing her because her college is a three and a half an hour drive from mine and we barely get sto see each other anymore, needless to say I cried the whole drive home.

Quote: From Pirates of the carribean: When elizabeth says "if you like pain, try wearing a corset"

which struck me funny and at the same time agreeing because I wear corsets a lot for costuming and things myself

I love that quote - hehe smiley

Quote of the week from my son : "Yes you are arguing with me" aged three. He is currently acting like a little angel after punching me in the throat, because we told him if he's not good there won't be a christmas tree....

Fave music at the mo : liking the 2nd Dido cd. On the 4th was my 4th wedding anniversary. James colluded with one of my friends and neighbours to get me out of the house to help with an emal problem... when I got back he had erected a (steady oxfez) dining table in the lounge, there were candles, champagne, pink roses...... and that was the cd that was playing in the background so now I love it even more smiley

lo Matty.

Funniest Thing: me trying and failing to draw a logo
Saddest Thing: me trying and failing to draw a logo
Album: Mutter
Phrase/Quote: "That's more fight and shooting accuracy than the mincing blonde ponce showed during his Tyneside tenure." - talking about Andreas Andersson's nightclub outburst.
