How is everyone doing this week then?

I've started selling stuff on Ebay - and just got another website design job, which is cool smiley Will try and remember to post a link after I get it done so you can all point and laugh and say how shite it is smiley

Oh and friends of ours are expecting a baby at Christmas, we just found out last night and have spent the day finding out Luca's old baby crap and washing loads so I can pass it on... and de-clutter the house at the same time. Trust me, we did the whole pregnancy-baby thing - we ain't doing that again!

What have you guys been up to? Any major ups or doens?

'Cor what have i done this week. I've bought fuck loads of CDs that I can't afford, partly because of eBay offering me rare things for little money and partly 'cos of a sale in a shop down the road. For the same reason I've come by some games which I can't play as me PS2's a) buggered and b) 100 miles away.

Been busy trying to sort out my life by getting someone to help me move my stuff up. Think I'm almost sussed.

I applied for a job at the Zoo!

I've been badmouthing Metallica's new record, which is a blatant attempt to be Slipknot, although I am liking the title track very much. The sound is bad though - the drums and bass are terrible - and I misinterpreted a lyric to be better than it actually is. I've also been listening to lots of Yngwie Malmsteen.

I've played bass til my hands hurt; currently forging my way through Sign of the Cross, a ten minute epic by Iron Maiden. I can play about 5 mins of it faultlessly, but I can't quite get the rest of it. Also learning 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' and refreshing my knowledge of another pile of stuff I could play.

I've been talking to my mate from school a lot - he's not finding the exams great.

I've been shouting at the government re: flags and gypsies.

My insomniac tendancies have reemerged and I've started rambling more and more on BBs as a result, aswell as making a nusance of myself in staff.

End...for now.

Busy week huh?

I got Lukes a Fathers Day pressie for Jay - Def Jam Vendetta for the Cube. It's got a slightly weird AI whereby it can go fucking loopy for no apparent reason.... but all in all is quite entertaining, esp the bitch fights because the women do moves as opposed to kicking and slapping like every WWE game I have ever played.

Got another private design job, bought another 19" monitor - for the 2nd pc - cos the 17" looked sad next to the 19" Iiyama.

Took Luca for his 3 year health check - he's taller than 91% of children for his age - he turns three on the 17th and is a metre tall and 2 1/2 stone in weight smiley Monster child - hehe smiley Takes the size bit from his dad.

Started listening to old music just cos of the hot weather - stuff like The Emotions 'Best of My Love' - I grew up listening to Motown and disco, and there's something about summertime that just makes me wanna sing into my hairbrush, hehe smiley

Bought more boots from Ebay and managed to sell some stuff too smiley

Aparently so!

What kind of stuff you selling on eBay? Anything fun? I've just bought two more CDs...make me stop someone please!

I'm not sleeping again (I've been up for around 27 hours now, with an hour nap yesterday afternoon and at some point last night)...mother currently pissing me off on MSN.

I've also just got to grips with the CD writer and have thrown a rather good first attempt out.

I'm lonely for proper conversation. sad

Poor mate smiley

Mostly selling bits of clothes, crap really, hehe smiley Will basically eventually start offloading other stuff too, but have managed to shift a few bits, which helps to pay for my own Ebay addiction. Bought some very nice frayed waist bootlegs which are very Trish, so happily trolling about in them at the mo - aah, gotta love hipsters smiley

CDRs are cool - we often use them for bits and pieces, we had a load of chill out albums, so converted to MP3 and popped them on one cd which goes through the DVD player (which runs through the amp) so we don't have to get up and change CD. Yes - we are very very lazy.

Oh - and we saw Finding Nemo - the new Disney/Pixar movie (Toy Story people) which is really cute. Little man just getting into movies... keeps wanting to watch Scary Movie. Oh yeah, and he's 3 today so I have an excuse to eat take out food with him cos he's been asking for chips since yesterday - hehe smiley The lounge is coered in balloons and we have a HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tweenies banner thing too - my normally stylish and understated living room looks like a kids den.... but hey, tis fun to make a fuss of him for a while smiley

Wow, fucking hectic week here!

Firstly happy birthday to the little 'un, hope he had fun. grin

Not much happened 'til Wednesday - I bought more shit off eBay I can't afford and all that, but Wednesday came.

Had a nice day pissing around with Fee; got told that my DVD had been replaced by the good people of Sanctuary, went shopping (got a lovely little Powerslave era Eddie (Iron Maiden's zombie mascot)), got home, I got told that I don't have a flat any more. Woo. Arguments came, bad feelings and all that, I go home.

Thursday. I stop being as bitter, realise the advantages of not having that flat any more and find I have a new room...at Fee's gaff. So that all worked out, just have to get my lease signed and all that crap.

Friday. Go back to Edinburgh, bringing all the stuff I can carry (bag, suitcase, holdall) with me, and the possibility of a car to come. Then off I went in search of jobs. At time of writing, I've handed my CV in to and/or got an application form for 13 different jobs, so something's gotta come up! Also, I bought another Eddie - this time a Live After Death era, 'Number of the Beast' playing Jack-in-the-Box. Tonight, off to Fee's parents and the Highland show tomorrow.

Total expenditure = too much to recall
Total people pissed off = minimum of 1, max of 3
Miles covered in the past 3 days - roughly 300 or so.

Sounds pretty mad - shame you didn't work out the other flat bit, but hey - shacking up already, hehe smiley Can't be bad smiley

Lukes had a great birthday - really cool. He has stuff EVERYWHERE at the mo - might start selling off stuff too smiley

Bought some lovely boots - remember Trish when she first started wrestling had those suede black kneehigh boots with a wedge heel? Been looking for the bloody things for about three years, and finally found some smiley Saw a lady on Eby selling some but not my size, so I emailed her and she managed to get me a pair - there are some nice people out there you know smiley

Bath tap (well the top of it) came off today - luckily have good friends who are good at all kinds of crap (for ex, Jay does their pc's etc) and Shawn came around and put new mechanisms inside - was really scared the house was gonna flood again. Happened once due to a faulty washing machine and just couldn't face it again.....

Good luck with the move etc smiley And the job hunting. Keep plugging away and sooner or later something will come up smiley

Fuck me, I just got a job interview for something I applied for this morning! Monday at 11am. Fuck!

In the long run this arrangement will be better for everyone - Fee's flatmate gets a room with her bloke, I get a room to myself at Fee's. Sussed methinks. grin

Sales blokey at the Officer's Club.

I think that warrants geting the outfit ready in itself - Fee's Dad says no black stuff but erm...my entire formal wardrobe is 3 black shirts...still, think I have a white un somewhere. grin

I think it went alright but he said he'd phone before telling me, which I don't think is a good sign.

My mother definatly doesn't think it is.

Fee isn't sure...but doesn't think it is.

In 5 hours I shall know for sure. fingers crossed everyone. undecided

Don't read too much into it until you hear or you will just drive yourself nuts. Best of luck!
