Good Week/Bad Week?
« Thread started on: May 24th, 2003, 9:52pm » |

***WARNING - COMPLETLY CHEESY THREAD***
Right, simple one this. As the week comes to a close, just share with us all what's gone on - what's made you laugh or cry, sing or shout. For a starter let's say:
Funniest Thing: Saddest Thing: Song/Album: Phrase/Quote:
If you think of anything else just wap it down. Post erm weekly, or once, or not at all or whatever. Your call.
For me:
Funniest Thing: My hyper burblings at William or my tipsy convo with Kemp on Fri night. Saddest Thing: Thankfully nothing offhand. Song/Album: Judas Priest - Breaking the Law (song), Iggy Pop - Brick by Crick (album) Phrase/Quote: "I laugh in the face of danger! Then I hide under the table as it comes after me." (Fee)
Starts us off at least, and don't feel you have to be overly serious. If Kevin dying his hair is the saddest thing to happen to you all week well good, but don't feel bad about slapping it down.
Boing.

Funniest Thing: a little story my best mate told me about peeing in the sink Saddest Thing: Pics of Owen Hart - think Byte This were doing a tribute thing because of the 4 year anniversary of his death. Song/Album: We've been listening to loads of chill out remix cd's, and got back into loving the 'american beauty' theme last night Phrase/Quote: Flungle!

I'd say last week was niether good, nor bad. A pretty standard week... the kind of standard week which is so standard that makes me remember life is only vaguely worth living.
Anyway
Funniest Thing: Trying to chat up a girl at the photocopier. My best line - one I was thinking up for about 5 minutes - was "knock yourself out". It was most poignant because it was the moment I realised that I will never EVER be able to chat up girls. Hilarious I'm sure you'll agree.
Saddest Thing: Bruce Springsteen's song Nothing Man from his latest album... Christ that is a tear-jerker. If you're not moved by it, then you're dead.
Song/Album: Mother Love Bone, no specific song
Phrase: "You're one of them men..." Stainiak once again questioning my sexuality over and over again on Saturday

ANYWHO...
Funniest Thing: Erm...dunno, Me trying to straighten my hair as it kept poping up, so in the end I got my mum to cut my hair.......guess its funny. Saddest Thing: Watching my divine blonde hair hit the floor as my hair was cut. Song/Album: Robert Palmer : Drive Phrase/Quote: "I am as mighty as Megatron" when i was getting my ass kicked at Halo.

its been a nightmare week but I'll fill in your little form:
Funniest Thing: I passed out while sitting on the arm of my chair and my flatmate woke me up he said he thought I was dead (told you its been a bad week.)
Saddest Thing: I woke up everyday
Song/Album: I havent been able to listen to any music this week.
Phrase/Quote:"Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music." -Kristian Wilson, Nintendo Inc., 1989
ok the quote wasn't made this week but I was told about it this week so I hope it still counts. infact I only filled this in 'cos it let me put that quote in.

Sorry to hear about your narcoleptic episode Sweet.
About 30 minutes ago I fell down the stairs at work because I was thinking about sex. Some guy was watching me at the bottom and when I picked myself up I just looked at him, shrugged and said "at least your not a chick". I was satisfied with that.

I recommend Benelyn. Because the Foo Fighters mention it in their song, it MUST be good.
Yeah Sweet's following the age old advice 'A Litre of Vodka A Day Keeps The Doctor Away And The Undertaker A Lot Closer'
Well anyway dude, get well soon.
